你們應當使那從起初所聽到的，住在你們裡面。如果那從起初所聽到的住在你們裡面，你們就會住在子裡面，也住在父裡面。

爾素聞之道、宜常在爾心、如道在爾心、則心交父及子、

爾自始所聞者、當恆存爾中、若自始所聞者、恆存爾中、則爾恆居於子及父內、

爾其慎旃務使所素聞者常寓爾衷。苟得所素聞者常寓爾衷、則爾亦必獲常寓聖子、乃至聖父之懷中。

As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

「正如父愛我，我也愛你們。你們當住在我的愛裡。如果你們遵守我的命令，就會住在我的愛裡；就像我遵守了我父的命令，住在他的愛裡那樣。

我們把所看到、所聽到的也向你們宣揚，好使你們也能夠與我們相契合；而我們又是與父和他的兒子耶穌基督相契合的。

各位蒙愛的人哪，我寫給你們的不是一條新命令，而是你們從起初就有的舊命令；這條舊命令就是你們所聽過的那話。

你們如果住在我裡面，而我的話也住在你們裡面，那麼，凡是你們所願的，當祈求，就將為你們成就。

願他們都合而為一。父啊，正如你在我裡面，我也在你裡面，願他們也在我們裡面，好讓世界相信是你差派了我。你賜給我的榮耀，我已經給了他們，使他們合而為一，就像我們是一體的。我在他們裡面，你在我裡面，願他們能完全合一，好讓世界知道是你差派了我，也知道你愛他們，就像愛我那樣。父啊，我在哪裡，願你所賜給我的人也能與我在哪裡，好讓他們能看見你所賜給我的榮耀，因為你在創世以前就愛我了。

這樣，我們已經認識並相信了神對我們所懷的愛。神就是愛；那住在愛裡面的，就住在神裡面，神也住在他裡面。

就是照著從起初以來的目擊者和做福音僕人的那些人所傳給我們的，

腓立比人哪，你們也知道，在福音工作的開始，我離開馬其頓省的時候，在供給和領受的事上，除了你們以外，沒有別的教會與我分享。
