連我知己的朋友，我所信賴、吃我飯的人也用腳踢我。

然而，他們沒有進步，因為他們的愚昧必在眾人面前顯露出來，像那兩人一樣。

就是照父上帝的預知，藉着聖靈得以成聖，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地賜給你們！願頌讚歸於我們主耶穌基督的父上帝！他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉着耶穌基督從死人中復活，重生了我們，使我們有活的盼望，好得到不朽壞、不玷污、不衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業，就是為你們這些藉着信、蒙上帝大能保守的人，能獲得他所預備、到末世要顯現的救恩。

撒在石頭地上的，就是人聽了道，立刻歡喜領受，只因心裏沒有根，不過是暫時的，一旦為道遭受患難或迫害，立刻就跌倒。

凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪掉；凡結果子的，他就修剪乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。

因為假基督和假先知將要起來，顯大神蹟、大奇事，如果可能，要把選民也迷惑了。

現在這時刻也是這樣，照着出於恩典的揀選，還有所留的餘數。既是靠恩典，就不憑行為，不然，恩典就不再是恩典了。

凡父所賜給我的人，必到我這裏來；到我這裏來的，我總不丟棄他。因為我從天上降下來，不是要按自己的意願行，而是要遵行差我來那位的旨意。差我來那位的旨意就是：他所賜給我的，要我一個也不失落，並且在末日使他復活。

我們聽說，有幾個人從我們這裏出去，用一些話騷擾你們，使你們的心困惑，其實我們並沒有吩咐他們。

耶穌基督的僕人、雅各的兄弟猶大，寫信給那些被召、在父上帝裏蒙愛、為耶穌基督保守的人。

倘若他們因認識我們的主和救主耶穌基督而得以脫離世上的污穢，後來又被污穢纏住，被制伏，他們末後的景況就比先前更不好了。他們知道義路，竟背棄了傳授給他們那神聖的誡命，倒不如不知道為妙。

我們卻不是退縮以致沉淪的那等人，而是有信心以致得生命的人。
