并且我赐给他们永恒的生命，他们绝不会灭亡，直到永远。谁也不能把他们从我手中夺走。我父，就是把他们赐给我的那一位，他比一切更大。谁也不能把他们从我父的手中夺走。我与父是一体的。”

连我信任的密友，就是那吃过我饭的，也抬脚踢我。

然而，他们不能再进一步了，因为他们的无知会在众人面前显露出来，就像那两个人一样。

就是按照父神的预知，藉着圣灵分别为圣，以致顺从耶稣基督，又蒙他宝血所洒的人：愿恩典与平安多多地加给你们！愿颂赞归于神——我们主耶稣基督的父！他照着自己极大的怜悯，藉着耶稣基督从死人中的复活，使我们重生，得着永生的盼望，得着不会朽坏、不会玷污、不会衰残、保存在天上的继业；你们藉着信，在神的大能中蒙保守，以至于那预备好要在末世显现的救恩。

那被撒上种子的‘岩石地’是这样的人：他听了这话语，立刻怀着喜乐的心接受了它；只是他里面没有根而不能持久，一旦为这话语受患难或逼迫，他立刻就放弃了。

所有属于我而不结果子的枝条，他就除掉；而所有结果子的，他就修剪干净，好让它结出更多的果子。

因为假基督们和假先知们会出现，行大神迹和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙拣选的人。

照样，在现今的时刻也有剩余的少数，就是藉着恩典蒙拣选的人。既然藉着恩典，就不再本于行为了；否则，恩典就不再是恩典了。

凡是父赐给我的人，都会到我这里来，而到我这里来的人，我绝不丢弃，因为我从天上降下来，不是要行自己的意思，而是要行那派我来者的意思。那派我来者的旨意，就是要我不失去他赐给我的任何人，而且要我在末日使他复活。

我们听说从我们这里出去的一些人，用一些话使你们不安，搅扰你们的心灵。其实我们没有吩咐他们。

耶稣基督的奴仆、雅各的弟弟犹大，致那些蒙召、在父神里蒙爱、在耶稣基督里蒙保守的人：

原来，他们如果藉着认识我们的主、救主耶稣基督而逃脱这世界的污秽，却又被这些污秽纠缠、制伏了，那么，他们最后的情况就比先前更坏了；因为认识了义的道路以后，背离那交托给他们的神圣诫命，对他们来说，倒不如不认识还好。

然而，我们不是退缩以致灭亡的人，而是有信仰以致保全灵魂的人。
