连我信任的密友，就是那吃我饭的，也用脚踢我。

然而他们不能再这样下去了，因为他们的愚昧终必在众人面前显露出来，好像那两个人一样。

就是照着父神的预知蒙拣选，藉着圣灵得成圣洁，因而顺服，并且被耶稣基督的血洒过的人。愿恩惠平安多多地加给你们。我们主耶稣基督的父神是应当称颂的。他照着自己的大怜悯，藉着耶稣基督从死人中复活，重生了我们，使我们有永活的盼望，可以得着不能朽坏、不能玷污、不能衰残，为你们存留在天上的基业，就是你们这因信蒙神能力保守的人，得着预备在末世要显现的救恩。

那撒在石地上的，就是人听了道，立刻欢欢喜喜地接受，可是他里面没有根，只是暂时的；一旦为道遭遇患难，受到迫害，就立刻跌倒了。

所有属我而不结果子的枝子，他就剪去；所有结果子的，他就修剪干净，让它结更多的果子。

因为必有假基督和假先知出现，显大神迹和奇事；如果可以的话，他们连选民也要迷惑。

因此，现在也是这样，按着恩典的拣选，还有剩下的余数。既然是靠着恩典，就不再是由于行为了；不然的话，恩典就不再是恩典了。

凡是父赐给我的人，必到我这里来；到我这里来的，我决不丢弃他，因为我从天上降下来，不是要行自己的意思，而是要行那差我来者的旨意。那差我来者的旨意就是：他所赐给我的人，我连一个也不失落，并且在末日我要使他们复活。

我们听说有人从我们这里出去，说了一些话搅扰你们，使你们心里不安，其实我们并没有吩咐他们。

耶稣基督的仆人，雅各的兄弟犹大，写信给那些被召的人，就是在父神里蒙爱，并且为了耶稣基督而蒙保守的人。

如果他们因为认识我们的主、救主耶稣基督，可以脱离世上的污秽，后来又在其中被缠住、受制伏，他们末了的景况，就比先前的更不好了。既然认识了义路，竟又背弃传给他们的圣诫命，对他们来说，倒不如不认识好得多了。

但我们不是那些后退以致灭亡的人，而是有信心以致保全生命的人。
