当然，这并不表示上帝的话落了空，因为从以色列生的，不一定都是以色列人，

我要赐他们永生，他们永不灭亡。没有人能从我的手里把他们抢走。我父把羊赐给我，祂比万物都大，没有人能从祂手中把羊抢走。我和父本为一。”

连我所信赖、吃我饭的挚友也用脚踢我。

不过，他们猖狂不了多久，因为他们的愚昧行径必暴露在众人面前，就像雅尼和佯庇的下场一样。

你们蒙拣选是按照父上帝预先定好的旨意，借着圣灵得以圣洁，好顺服耶稣基督，并靠祂的血得到洁净。愿上帝赐给你们丰丰富富的恩典和平安！愿颂赞归于我们主耶稣基督的父上帝！祂有无穷的怜悯，借着耶稣基督从死里复活使我们获得重生，有活泼的盼望，可以承受那不会朽坏、没有污点、不会衰残、为你们存留在天上的产业。你们这些因信而蒙上帝用大能保守的人，必能得到那已经预备好、在末世要显明的救恩。

种子落在石头地上，是指人听了道后，立刻欢喜地接受了，但因为他心里没有根基，不过是暂时接受，一旦为道遭受患难或迫害，就立刻放弃了信仰；

属于我的枝子如果不结果子，祂就把它剪掉；如果结果子，祂便修剪它，让它结更多的果子。

因为假基督和假先知将出现，行很大的神迹奇事来迷惑人，如果可能，甚至要迷惑上帝拣选的子民。

现在的情况也是一样，上帝按照拣选的恩典留下了少数人。既然说是出于恩典，就不再基于行为，不然恩典就不再是恩典了。

凡父赐给我的人，必到我这里来。到我这里来的，我总不丢弃他。因为我从天上下来，不是要成就自己的旨意，而是要成就差我来者的旨意。差我来者的旨意是，祂所赐给我的，我一个也不失掉，在末日我要叫他们复活。

“听说有几个人从我们这里去了你们那里，教导你们必须接受割礼并遵守摩西的律法。他们的言论使你们大感困惑。其实我们从来没有授权他们这样做。

我是耶稣基督的奴仆、雅各的兄弟犹大，现在写信给蒙父上帝呼召、眷爱、被耶稣基督看顾的人。

如果他们借着认识我们的主和救主耶稣基督，已经摆脱了世俗的污秽，但后来又被这些事缠住、俘虏了，他们的处境会比以前更糟糕。他们明知道正路，却背弃了传给他们的神圣诫命，这样倒不如不知道的好。

但我们都不是退后走向灭亡的人，而是因为有信心而灵魂得救的人。
