每一個靈不承認耶穌的、不是出於上帝。這就是敵基督者的靈、你們曾聽說他要來的；如今他已經在世界上了。

因為有假基督假神言人將要起來，施行大神迹奇事，為的是、如果可能、連蒙揀選的人也要加以迷惑。

親愛的，一切的靈、你們別都信了；總要察驗那些靈是不是出於上帝；因為有許多假的神言人已經出來到世界上來了。

這一點你要知道：在末後的日子、必有艱苦的時期要來到。因為人必逕愛自己、愛銀錢、矜誇、狂傲、毁謗、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、不虔聖、無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能節制、蠻橫兇暴、不愛良善、出賣師友、鹵莽妄為、蒙於傲氣、愛宴樂而不愛上帝，有敬虔的形式，卻背棄了敬虔的實質；這種人、你要躲開。那暗暗穿進人家、牢籠志行薄弱的婦女的、正是他們中間的人；這些婦女被罪堆壓，被各種私慾牽引着，

但聖靈明說、在末後的時期、必有人離棄信仰，意向着謬妄的靈、和鬼魔的教條。在說謊話之假裝中、這種人的良知是被熱鐵烙麻木了的。他們禁止嫁娶，禁戒食物，就是上帝所創造、給信徒和認識真理的人用感謝心享受的。

因為時候必到，人必不容忍健全的教義，反而耳朵發癢，順着自己的私慾給自己堆積許多教師來，使耳朵轉離真理，偏向荒唐的傳說。

第一，你們要知道：在諸日期的末後、必有好譏誚的人帶着譏誚而來，順着他們自己的私慾行，

必有許多人要冒我的名來、說：「我就是」，便迷惑了許多人。

我知道我離開了以後，必有兇暴的豺狼要進入你們中間，不顧惜羊羣。就是從你們自己中間、也必有人起來、說乖僻的話，要把門徒牽走、去跟從他們。

必有許多假神言人要起來，迷惑許多人。
