父老啊，我曾写信给你们，因为你们认识那从起初原有的。少年人哪，我曾写信给你们；因为你们刚强，神的道常存在你们心里；你们也胜了那恶者。

一切所有的都是我父交付我的；除了父，没有人知道子是谁；除了子和子所愿意指示的，没有人知道父是谁。”

小子们哪，你们是属神的，并且胜了他们；因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。

我们知道凡从神生的，必不犯罪，从神生的，必保守自己，那恶者也就无法害他。

一切所有的，都是我父交付我的；除了父，没有人知道子；除了子和子所愿意指示的，没有人知道父。

他们这样行，是因未曾认识父，也未曾认识我。

神说：“因为他专心爱我，我就要搭救他；因为他知道我的名，我要把他安置在高处。

我们若遵守他的诫命，就晓得是认识他。人若说“我认识他”，却不遵守他的诫命，便是说谎话的，真理也不在他心里了。

强壮乃少年人的荣耀；白发为老年人的尊荣。

我小子们哪，我将这些话写给你们，是要叫你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。

少年人和处女，老年人和孩童，都当赞美耶和华！

使他们都合而为一。正如你父在我里面，我在你里面，使他们也在我们里面，叫世人可以信你差了我来。

他们就问他说：“你的父在哪里？”耶稣回答说：“你们不认识我，也不认识我的父；若是认识我，也就认识我的父。”

凡听见天国道理不明白的，那恶者就来，把所撒在他心里的夺了去；这就是撒在路旁的了。

耶稣回答说：“我若荣耀自己，我的荣耀就算不得什么；荣耀我的乃是我的父，就是你们所说是你们的神。你们未曾认识他；我却认识他。我若说不认识他，我就是说谎的，像你们一样；但我认识他，也遵守他的道。
