My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

我小子乎、我書此遺爾、免爾干罪、人若干罪、則我儕於父前有代言者、即義者耶穌基督也、

我書達小子、使爾不陷罪、人若陷罪、則於父前、有保惠師、義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、我書此達爾、使爾不陷罪、若有人陷罪、則在父前有我中保、即義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、吾作是書、欲爾等勿犯罪耳。然即使不幸獲罪、則吾人在聖父臺前、自有恩保代為贖罪、即聖者耶穌基督是已。

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

My dear children, I’m writing this to you so that you will not sin. But suppose someone does sin. Then we have a friend who speaks to the Father for us. He is Jesus Christ, the Blameless One.

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles— when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.

She said,“ No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her,“ Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,

Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father.

“ Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

“ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.

And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

Then Jesus answered and said to them,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him,“ See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly;

Little children, I shall be with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews,‘ Where I am going, you cannot come,’ so now I say to you.
