My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;

我小子乎、我書此遺爾、免爾干罪、人若干罪、則我儕於父前有代言者、即義者耶穌基督也、

我書達小子、使爾不陷罪、人若陷罪、則於父前、有保惠師、義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、我書此達爾、使爾不陷罪、若有人陷罪、則在父前有我中保、即義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、吾作是書、欲爾等勿犯罪耳。然即使不幸獲罪、則吾人在聖父臺前、自有恩保代為贖罪、即聖者耶穌基督是已。

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

My dear children, I’m writing this to you so that you will not sin. But suppose someone does sin. Then we have a friend who speaks to the Father for us. He is Jesus Christ, the Blameless One.

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, but rather, was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently.Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous;

Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness also has been born of Him.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of indecent behavior, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries.

She said,“ No one, Lord.” And Jesus said,“ I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on do not sin any longer.”]]

My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you—

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.”

I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you on account of His name.I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father.

Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is righteous and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way.For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself;

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

Afterward, Jesus* found him in the temple and said to him,“ Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”

Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Little children, guard yourselves from idols.

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!

I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you before long;

Little children, I am still with you a little longer. You will look for Me; and just as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you:‘ Where I am going, you cannot come.’
