My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

我小子们哪，我将这些话写给你们，是要叫你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。

我的孩子们哪，我把这些话写给你们，是要你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。

我的孩子们，我写这些话给你们是为了叫你们不要犯罪。如果有人犯了罪，在父那里我们有一位护慰者，就是那位义者——耶稣基督。

我的孩子們哪，我把這些事寫給你們，免得你們犯罪。但如果有人犯了罪，在父那裡我們有一位辯護者，就是那義者耶穌基督。

我小子乎、我書此遺爾、免爾干罪、人若干罪、則我儕於父前有代言者、即義者耶穌基督也、

我書達小子、使爾不陷罪、人若陷罪、則於父前、有保惠師、義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、我書此達爾、使爾不陷罪、若有人陷罪、則在父前有我中保、即義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、吾作是書、欲爾等勿犯罪耳。然即使不幸獲罪、則吾人在聖父臺前、自有恩保代為贖罪、即聖者耶穌基督是已。

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

My dear children, I’m writing this to you so that you will not sin. But suppose someone does sin. Then we have a friend who speaks to the Father for us. He is Jesus Christ, the Blameless One.

For[ there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Who[ is] he that condemneth?[ It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

But this[ man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.For such an high priest became us,[ who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

For he hath made him[ to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;That he no longer should live the rest of[ his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.For the time past of[ our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him[ that is] from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he[ is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth[ them]; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:That all[ men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak[ this] to your shame.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,[ and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and[ he] to whom the Son will reveal[ him].

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands,[ which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
