My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

我小子乎、我書此遺爾、免爾干罪、人若干罪、則我儕於父前有代言者、即義者耶穌基督也、

我書達小子、使爾不陷罪、人若陷罪、則於父前、有保惠師、義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、我書此達爾、使爾不陷罪、若有人陷罪、則在父前有我中保、即義人耶穌基督、

小子乎、吾作是書、欲爾等勿犯罪耳。然即使不幸獲罪、則吾人在聖父臺前、自有恩保代為贖罪、即聖者耶穌基督是已。

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

My dear children, I’m writing this to you so that you will not sin. But suppose someone does sin. Then we have a friend who speaks to the Father for us. He is Jesus Christ, the Blameless One.

who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

but he, because he abideth for ever, hath his priesthood unchangeable.Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

My little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:

And now, my little children, abide in him; that, if he shall be manifested, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one also that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.

Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Forasmuch then as Christ suffered in the flesh, arm ye yourselves also with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.For the time past may suffice to have wrought the desire of the Gentiles, and to have walked in lasciviousness, lusts, winebibbings, revellings, carousings, and abominable idolatries:

And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.]

My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ be formed in you—

Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed.

I write unto you, my little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.I write unto you, fathers, because ye know him who is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the evil one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye know the Father.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away sins; and in him is no sin.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner.For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and greater works than these will he show him, that ye may marvel.For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the Son also to have life in himself:

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing befall thee.

Awake to soberness righteously, and sin not; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak this to move you to shame.

My little children, guard yourselves from idols.

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.

For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid.

These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly;

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say unto you.
