We announce to you what we have seen and heard. We do it so you can share life together with us. And we share life with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

我们将所看见、所听见的传给你们，使你们与我们相交。我们乃是与父并他儿子耶稣基督相交的。

我们把所看见、所听见的传扬给你们，为要使你们也与我们有团契，而我们的团契是与父和他儿子耶稣基督所共有的。

夫我以所見所聞者語爾、使爾心交於我儕、我儕亦心交於父、及其子耶穌基督、

語爾以所見所聞、使爾與我、共交以心、即以心交父、及子耶穌基督、

我儕以所見所聞者告爾曹、使爾與我儕心交、我儕與父及其子耶穌基督心交、

吾人茲以所見所聞、傳之於爾、庶幾爾曹得與吾人神交心契、而吾人實已與聖父及其聖子耶穌基督神交心契矣。

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

And what is eternal life? It is knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

So does belonging to Christ help you in any way? Does his love comfort you at all? Do you share anything in common because of the Holy Spirit? Has Christ ever been gentle and loving toward you?

I’m speaking to the elders among you. I was a witness of Christ’s sufferings. And I will also share in the glory that is going to come. I’m making my appeal to you as one who is an elder together with you.

He has saved us from the kingdom of darkness. He has brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you. I love you with all my heart. I may be held by chains, or I may be standing up for the truth of the good news. Either way, all of you share in God’s grace together with me.

Here is the message we have heard from him and announce to you. God is light. There is no darkness in him at all.

Holy brothers and sisters, God chose you to be his people. So keep thinking about Jesus. We embrace him as our apostle and our high priest.

Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts what God says about him. Whoever does not believe God is calling him a liar. That’s because they have not believed what God said about his Son.Here is what God says about the Son. God has given us eternal life. And this life is found in his Son.

I haven’t let anyone keep me from telling you everything God wants you to do.

“ I will give them a sign. I will send to the nations some of those who are left alive. I will send some of them to the people of Tarshish, Libya and Lydia, who are famous for using bows. I will send others to Tubal and Greece. And I will send still others to islands far away. The people who live there have not heard about my fame. They have not seen my glory. But when I act, those I send will tell the nations about my glory.

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father. You will know that you are in me, and I am in you.Anyone who has my commands and obeys them loves me. My Father will love the one who loves me. I too will love them. And I will show myself to them.”Then Judas spoke.“ Lord,” he said,“ why do you plan to show yourself only to us? Why not also to the world?” The Judas who spoke those words was not Judas Iscariot.Jesus replied,“ Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. We will come to them and make our home with them.

I will announce your name to my people. I will praise you among those who are gathered to worship you.

I will announce what the Lord has promised. He said to me,“ You are my son. Today I have become your father.
