我们把所看到、所听到的也向你们宣扬，好使你们也能够与我们相契合；而我们又是与父和他的儿子耶稣基督相契合的。

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

认识你——独一的真神，并认识你所差派的耶稣基督，这就是永恒的生命。

所以，你们如果在基督里有任何鼓励、任何爱的安慰、任何圣灵里的契合、任何情感和怜悯，

所以，我这同做长老的、做基督苦难见证人的、也在那将要显现的荣耀中有份的，我恳求你们中间的长老们：

他救我们脱离了黑暗的权势，把我们迁入他爱子的国度；

我理当这样思念你们大家，因为你们常把我放在心上；无论我是在捆锁当中，还是在为福音辩护或做见证的时候，你们都是在恩典上与我一同有份。

我们从基督所听到，现在又传讲给你们的信息是这样的：神就是光，在他里面毫无黑暗。

故此，蒙了属天召唤的同伴们，圣洁的弟兄们！你们应该思想我们信仰告白中的使者和大祭司——耶稣。

那信神儿子的，就有这见证在他里面；那不信神的，就把神当做说谎者，因为他不相信神为自己的儿子所做的见证。这见证就是：神把永恒的生命赐给了我们，并且这生命在他儿子里面。

因为神的整个计划，我没有一样因畏缩而不传讲给你们。

我要在万民中间设立一个标记，并派遣他们中的幸存者到列国，就是到塔尔施、普勒、拉弓的吕底亚、图巴和雅完，以及那些未曾听过我名声、未曾见过我荣耀的遥远海岛；他们必在列国中宣扬我的荣耀。

在那一天，你们就会明白：我在我父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。那领受我命令并遵守的人，就是爱我的。爱我的会蒙我父所爱，我也会爱他，并且会向他显明我自己。”不是加略人的那个犹大问耶稣：“主啊，怎么会这样呢？你为什么要向我们显明自己，而不向世人显明呢？”耶稣回答说：“如果有人爱我，他就会遵守我的话语，我父也会爱他，而且我们将要来到他那里，并且在他那里安置我们的住处。

我要向我的弟兄们讲述你的名，要在会众当中赞美你。
