有关生命之道，是从太初就有的，是我们所听到、所亲眼看到、所观察过、又亲手摸过的——

有關生命之道，是從太初就有的，是我們所聽到、所親眼看到、所觀察過、又親手摸過的——

維生之道、太初而有、我儕所聞所見、所瞻視而手捫者、

元始生命之道、余耳聞之、目擊之、手捫之、

太初所有生命之道、道或作言下同我儕所聞、親目所睹、我儕所觀、親手所捫者、

吾人所言者、乃元始生命之道、而亦吾人所曾耳濡目染、躬自瞻仰、親受撫摩者也。

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched— this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

Here is what we announce to everyone about the Word of life. The Word was already here from the beginning. We have heard him. We have seen him with our eyes. We have looked at him. Our hands have touched him.

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

This is what we proclaim to you: what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and our hands have touched( concerning the word of life–

然后他对多马说：“把你的指头伸到这里来，看看我的手吧。伸出你的手来，放进我的肋旁吧。不要不信，而要信！”

我们已经见过，并且现在见证：父差派子做世界的救主，

你们看我的手、我的脚，确实是我。摸我看看！幽灵没有骨，也没有肉，你们看，我是有的。”

要知道，我们从前让你们明白我们主耶稣基督的大能和他来临的事，并不是随从巧言编造的故事，相反，我们是亲眼见过他威荣的人。他从父神领受尊贵和荣耀的时候，从那威严的荣耀中，有这样的声音向他传来，说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。”这从天上传来的声音，是我们与他一起在圣山上的时候听见的，

我一看见他，就仆倒在他的脚前，像死人那样。他把右手放在我身上，说：“不要怕！我就是首先的，是末后的，是那永生的。我曾经死过，可是看哪，我现在活着，直到永永远远，并且拿着死亡和阴间的钥匙。

“你要给士每拿教会的使者写信说：“那位首先的、末后的，那位曾经死去又活过来的，这样说：

耶稣受难之后，用很多确据向这些人显明自己是活着的。他在四十天的时间里向他们显现，并且讲说有关神国的事。

他身穿一件浸过血的袍子；他的名字叫“神的话语”。

原来，做见证的有三者：

父老们哪，我写信给你们，因为你们已经认识了从太初就有的那一位；年轻人哪，我写信给你们，因为你们已经胜过了那恶者。孩子们哪，我写了信给你们，因为你们已经认识了父；父老们哪，我写了信给你们，因为你们已经认识了从太初就有的那一位；年轻人哪，我写了信给你们，因为你们是强壮的，神的话语住在你们里面，你们也已经胜过了那恶者。

是谁施行并成就了这样的事，从起初就一直召唤历代的人呢？就是我耶和华——我是首先的，也与末后的同在；我就是那一位。

在耶和华创世之始，在太初创造以先，他就拥有了我。从亘古、从最初、从大地之始，我已经被立。在没有深渊、没有涌流众水的泉源之时，我已经诞生。在群山被安置以先、冈陵被安置之前，我已经诞生。那时耶和华还没有造大地、田野，也没有造世上最初的尘土。在他确立诸天时，我在那里——他在渊面上立定圆穹，他布置天上的云朵，使深渊的泉眼喷涌；他为海洋设立界限，使众水不能违背他的吩咐；他立定了大地的根基——那时我在他身边为工匠，是他每天的喜乐，时时在他面前欢笑，在他的全地上欢笑，我的喜乐与世人同在。

说：“把你所看见的写在书卷上，送到那七个教会：以弗所、士每拿、佩尔伽马、锡亚蒂拉、萨迪斯、费拉德菲亚和劳迪西亚。”

看见这事的那人做了见证——他的见证是真实的，并且他知道他所说的是真实的——这是为了要你们也信。
