For it is written in the Law of Moses:“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” Is it about oxen that God is concerned?

Here is what is written in the Law of Moses.“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Is it oxen that God is concerned about?

For it is written in the Law of Moses,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned?

For the law of Moses says,“ You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” Was God thinking only about oxen when he said this?

这些都仰望你按时给它们食物。

万有的眼目都仰望你，你按时给他们食物。你张手，使一切有生命的都随愿饱足。

你们想一想乌鸦：它们既不种也不收，既没有仓又没有库，神尚且养活它们。你们比飞鸟要贵重得多呢！你们哪一个能藉着忧虑使寿数多加一刻呢？这最小的事你们尚且不能做，何必忧虑其余的事呢？你们想一想百合花是怎么长起来的：它也不劳动，也不纺线。然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的还不如这些花的一朵呢！你们这小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢？

但第七日是向耶和华—你的神当守的安息日。这一日，你和你的儿女、仆婢、牛、驴、牲畜，以及你城里寄居的客旅，都不可做任何的工，使你的仆婢可以和你一样休息。

他用密云遮天，为地预备雨水，使草生长在山上。他赐食物给走兽和啼叫的小乌鸦。

你们看一看那天上的飞鸟，也不种也不收，也不在仓里存粮，你们的天父尚且养活它们。你们不比飞鸟贵重得多吗？你们哪一个能藉着忧虑使寿数多加一刻呢？何必为衣裳忧虑呢？你们想一想野地里的百合花是怎么长起来的：它也不劳动也不纺线。然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的还不如这些花的一朵呢！你们这小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢？

“你若看见弟兄的牛或羊迷了路，不可避开它们，总要把它们牵回来交给你的弟兄。你弟兄若离你远，或是你不认识他，你就要牵到你家，留在你那里，等你的弟兄来寻找就还给他。你弟兄所失落的，无论是驴，衣服，或任何东西，你若发现，都要这样做，不能避开。你若看见你弟兄的牛或驴在路上跌倒了，不可避开它们，总要帮助他把牛或驴拉起来。

耶和华使驴开口，对巴兰说：“我向你做了什么，你竟打我这三次呢？”巴兰对驴说：“因为你戏弄我，我恨不得手中有刀，现在就把你杀了。”驴对巴兰说：“我不是你从小直到今天所骑的驴吗？我平时有这样待过你吗？”巴兰说：“没有。”耶和华使巴兰的眼目明亮，他看见耶和华的使者站在路中间，手里有拔出来的刀；巴兰就低头俯伏下拜。耶和华的使者对他说：“你为什么这三次打你的驴呢？看哪，我出来敌对你，因为这路在我面前已经偏离了。驴看见我就从我面前回避了这三次；驴若没有回避我，我早把你杀了，留它存活。”巴兰对耶和华的使者说：“我有罪了。我不知道你站在路中间阻挡我；现在你若看为不好，我就回去。”耶和华的使者对巴兰说：“你和这些人去吧！你只要说我对你说的话。”于是巴兰和巴勒的官员一同去了。

何况这尼尼微大城，其中不能分辨左右手的就有十二万多人，还有许多牲畜，我岂能不爱惜呢？”
