For it is written in the Law of Moses:“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” Is it about oxen that God is concerned?

Here is what is written in the Law of Moses.“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Is it oxen that God is concerned about?

For it is written in the Law of Moses,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned?

For the law of Moses says,“ You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” Was God thinking only about oxen when he said this?

For it is written in the law of Moses,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” God is not concerned here about oxen, is he?

For it is written in the law of Moses,“ You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it for the oxen that God cares,

“ You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing.

For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing,” and“ The laborer is worthy of his wages.”

They all wait for You To give them their food in due season.

The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!And which of you by worrying can add a day to his life’s span?Therefore if you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about the other things?Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither labor nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.Now if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You of little faith!

but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; you shall not do any work that day, you or your son or your daughter, or your male slave or your female slave, or your ox, your donkey, or any of your cattle, or your resident who stays with you, so that your male slave and your female slave may rest as well as you.

It is He who covers the heavens with clouds, Who provides rain for the earth, Who makes grass sprout on the mountains.It is He who gives an animal its food, And feeds young ravens that cry.

Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?And which of you by worrying can add a single day to his life’s span?And why are you worried about clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin thread for cloth,yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was reckless and contrary to me.But the donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If she had not turned away from me, I certainly would have killed you just now, and let her live.”So Balaam said to the angel of the Lord,“ I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back.”But the angel of the Lord said to Balaam,“ Go with the men, but you shall speak only the word that I tell you.” So Balaam went along with the representatives of Balak.

Should I not also have compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 people, who do not know the difference between their right hand and their left, as well as many animals?”
