For it is written in the Law of Moses:“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” Is it about oxen that God is concerned?

Here is what is written in the Law of Moses.“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Is it oxen that God is concerned about?

For it is written in the Law of Moses,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned?

For the law of Moses says,“ You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” Was God thinking only about oxen when he said this?

For it is written in the law of Moses, Do not muzzle an ox while it treads out grain. Is God really concerned about oxen?

For it is written in the Law of Moses:“ You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing.” God is not concerned about oxen, is He?

因為經上說：「牛在場上踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴」；又說：「工人得工價是應當的。」

這都仰望你按時給牠食物。

萬民都舉目仰望你；你隨時給他們食物。你張手，使有生氣的都隨願飽足。

你想烏鴉，也不種也不收，又沒有倉又沒有庫，神尚且養活牠。你們比飛鳥是何等地貴重呢！你們哪一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢？這最小的事，你們尚且不能做，為甚麼還憂慮其餘的事呢？你想百合花怎麼長起來；它也不勞苦，也不紡線。然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！你們這小信的人哪，野地裏的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裏，神還給它這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢！

但第七日是向耶和華－你神當守的安息日。這一日，你和你的兒女、僕婢、牛、驢、牲畜，並在你城裏寄居的客旅，無論何工都不可做，使你的僕婢可以和你一樣安息。

他用雲遮天，為地降雨，使草生長在山上。他賜食給走獸和啼叫的小烏鴉。

你們看那天上的飛鳥，也不種，也不收，也不積蓄在倉裏，你們的天父尚且養活牠。你們不比飛鳥貴重得多嗎？你們哪一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢？何必為衣裳憂慮呢？你想野地裏的百合花怎麼長起來；它也不勞苦，也不紡線。然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！你們這小信的人哪！野地裏的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裏，神還給它這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢！

「你若看見弟兄的牛或羊失迷了路，不可佯為不見，總要把牠牽回來交給你的弟兄。你弟兄若離你遠，或是你不認識他，就要牽到你家去，留在你那裏，等你弟兄來尋找就還給他。你的弟兄無論失落甚麼，或是驢，或是衣服，你若遇見，都要這樣行，不可佯為不見。你若看見弟兄的牛或驢跌倒在路上，不可佯為不見，總要幫助他拉起來。

耶和華叫驢開口，對巴蘭說：「我向你行了甚麼，你竟打我這三次呢？」巴蘭對驢說：「因為你戲弄我，我恨不能手中有刀，把你殺了。」驢對巴蘭說：「我不是你從小時直到今日所騎的驢嗎？我素常向你這樣行過嗎？」巴蘭說：「沒有。」當時，耶和華使巴蘭的眼目明亮，他就看見耶和華的使者站在路上，手裏有拔出來的刀，巴蘭便低頭俯伏在地。耶和華的使者對他說：「你為何這三次打你的驢呢？我出來敵擋你，因你所行的，在我面前偏僻。驢看見我就三次從我面前偏過去；驢若沒有偏過去，我早把你殺了，留牠存活。」巴蘭對耶和華的使者說：「我有罪了。我不知道你站在路上阻擋我；你若不喜歡我去，我就轉回。」耶和華的使者對巴蘭說：「你同這些人去吧！你只要說我對你說的話。」於是巴蘭同着巴勒的使臣去了。

何況這尼尼微大城，其中不能分辨左手右手的有十二萬多人，並有許多牲畜，我豈能不愛惜呢？」
