For it is written in the Law of Moses:“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” Is it about oxen that God is concerned?

Here is what is written in the Law of Moses.“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Is it oxen that God is concerned about?

For it is written in the Law of Moses,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned?

For the law of Moses says,“ You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” Was God thinking only about oxen when he said this?

因为经上说：“牛踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。”又说：“作工的配得工价。”

这些活物都仰望你，仰望你按时赐给它们食物。

万人的眼睛都仰望你，你按时把粮食赐给他们。你把手张开，使所有生物都随愿得到饱足。

你们想想乌鸦：它们不种也不收，无仓又无库，神尚且养活它们；你们比飞鸟贵重得多了。你们中间谁能用忧虑使自己的寿命延长一刻呢？既然连这极小的事都不能作，为什么还忧虑其他的事呢？你们想想百合花，怎样不劳苦，也不纺织。但我告诉你们，就是所罗门最荣华的时候所穿的，也比不上这花中的一朵呢。小信的人哪，田野的草，今天还在，明天就投进炉里，神尚且这样给它装饰，何况你们呢？

但第七日是属于耶和华你神的安息日；这一日，你和你的儿女、仆婢、牛驴和一切牲畜，以及你城里的寄居者，不可作任何的工，好使你的仆婢可以和你一样享受安息。

他以密云遮盖天空，为大地预备雨水，使群山长满青草。他把食物赐给走兽，也赐给啼叫的小乌鸦。

你们看天空的飞鸟：它们不撒种，不收割，也不收进仓里，你们的天父尚且养活它们；难道你们不比它们更宝贵吗？你们中间谁能用忧虑使自己的寿命延长一刻呢？何必为衣服忧虑呢？试想田野的百合花怎样生长，它们不劳苦，也不纺织。但我告诉你们，就是所罗门最威荣的时候所穿的，也比不上这花中的一朵。田野的草，今天还在，明天就投进炉里，神尚且这样妆扮它们；小信的人哪，何况你们呢？

“如果你看见你兄弟的牛或羊走迷了，你不可不理，总要把它们牵回你的兄弟那里。如果你的兄弟离你很远，或是你不认识他，你就要把它牵到你家中，留在你那里，等到你的兄弟来寻找它，你就还给他。对他的驴，你要这样行；对你的兄弟失去而被你找到的任何东西，你都要这样行，不可不理。如果你看见你兄弟的驴或牛跌倒在路上，你不可不理，总要帮助他把它们拉起来。

耶和华开了驴的口，驴就对巴兰说：“我向你作了什么，你竟打我这三次呢？”巴兰对驴说：“因为你作弄我。但愿我手中有刀，现在就把你杀死。”驴对巴兰说：“我不是你从起初一直所骑的驴吗？我曾惯常向你这样行过吗？”巴兰说：“没有。”那时，耶和华开了巴兰的眼睛，他就看见耶和华的使者站在路上，手里拿着拔出来的刀，巴兰就低头俯伏在地。耶和华的使者对他说：“你为什么这三次打你的驴呢？看哪，是我来敌挡你，因为你走的路在我面前邪僻。驴看见了我，就三次从我面前转开；驴若是没有从我面前转开，我早已把你杀了，而留它活着。”巴兰对耶和华的使者说：“我有罪了，我不知道是你站在路上阻挡我；现在你若是不喜欢我去，我就回去。”耶和华的使者对巴兰说：“你与这些人同去吧，但是你只要说我吩咐你的话。”于是巴兰与巴勒的领袖一同去了。

何况这尼尼微大城，其中不晓得分辨左右手的有十二万多人，并且有许多牲畜，我怎能不爱惜呢？”
