Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?

豈無權娶信女攜之同行、如他使徒、及主之兄弟、與磯法乎、

宗主之姊妹、余非得娶乎、如他使徒、及主之兄弟、與磯法然、

我豈無權娶女弟為妻、攜之同行、如他使徒、及主之兄弟與磯法乎、

又豈無權攜一奉主之婦人出門傳道、一如其他宗徒、與主之諸弟、以及基法之所為耶？

Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife with us when we travel? The other apostles do. The Lord’s brothers do. Peter does.

Do we not have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?

Don’t we have the right to bring a believing wife with us as the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers do, and as Peter does?

Don’t we have the right to be accompanied by a believing wife like the other apostles, the Lord’s brothers, and Cephas?

Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

Have we no right to lead about a wife that is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

Don’t we have the right to be accompanied by a Christian wife like the other apostles, the Lord’s brothers, and Cephas?

Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and[ as] the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

Do we not have the right to the company of a believing wife, like the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?

Have we no right to take along a wife who is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which, when translated, is Peter).

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.

I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.

They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

I saw none of the other apostles— only James, the Lord’s brother.

Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self- controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace.How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume more than any spice!

An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.

You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride; you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him.Someone told him,“ Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”He replied to him,“ Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”Pointing to his disciples, he said,“ Here are my mother and my brothers.For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.

A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord.

What I mean is this: One of you says,“ I follow Paul”; another,“ I follow Apollos”; another,“ I follow Cephas”; still another,“ I follow Christ.”

I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk. Eat, friends, and drink; drink your fill of love.I slept but my heart was awake. Listen! My beloved is knocking:“ Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my flawless one. My head is drenched with dew, my hair with the dampness of the night.”

I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae.

“ Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?

After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.

Simon’s mother- in- law was in bed with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her.

They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
