To those free from the law I became like one free from the law( though I am not free from God’s law but under the law of Christ) to gain those free from the law.

於無律法者我如無律法、以得無律法者、實我在天主前非無律法、乃在基督之律法下、

於法外之人、吾亦儼然以法外之人自居、所以感化法外之人也；實則就天主及基督之妙法言之、吾亦法內之人耳。

To those not having the law I became like one not having the law( though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.

To those who don’t have the law I became like one who doesn’t have the law. I did this even though I am not free from God’s law. I am under Christ’s law. Now I can win those who don’t have the law.

To those outside the law I became as one outside the law( not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.

When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.

To those who are without the law, like one without the law— though I am not without God’s law but under the law of Christ— to win those without the law.

to those who are without the Law, I became as one without the Law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might gain those who are without the Law.

to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;

to them that are without law, as without law, not being without law to God, but under law to Christ, that I might gain them that are without law.

To those who are without that law, like one without the law— not being without God’s law but within Christ’s law— to win those without the law.

To them that are without law, as without law,( being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law.

The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard?

For whenever the Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature the things required by the law, these who do not have the law are a law to themselves.

For all who have sinned apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Instead, keeping God’s commandments is what counts.Let each one remain in that situation in life in which he was called.Were you called as a slave? Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity.For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord’s freedman. In the same way, the one who was called as a free person is Christ’s slave.

“ Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have not come to abolish these things but to fulfill them.I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth pass away not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter will pass from the law until everything takes place.So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.For I tell you, unless your righteousness goes beyond that of the experts in the law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.For the commandments,“ Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not covet,”( and if there is any other commandment) are summed up in this,“ Love your neighbor as yourself.”Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

But regarding the Gentiles who have believed, we have written a letter, having decided that they should avoid meat that has been sacrificed to idols and blood and what has been strangled and sexual immorality.”

As they went through the towns, they passed on the decrees that had been decided on by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem for the Gentile believers to obey.

Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, although he was a Greek.Now this matter arose because of the false brothers with false pretenses who slipped in unnoticed to spy on our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, to make us slaves.

Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self- control. Against such things there is no law.

Until certain people came from James, he had been eating with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he stopped doing this and separated himself because he was afraid of those who were pro- circumcision.And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them by their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they were not behaving consistently with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all,“ If you, although you are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you try to force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self- controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in endurance.Older women likewise are to exhibit behavior fitting for those who are holy, not slandering, not slaves to excessive drinking, but teaching what is good.In this way they will train the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children,to be self- controlled, pure, fulfilling their duties at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the message of God may not be discredited.Encourage younger men likewise to be self- controlled,showing yourself to be an example of good works in every way. In your teaching show integrity, dignity,and a sound message that cannot be criticized, so that any opponent will be at a loss, because he has nothing evil to say about us.Slaves are to be subject to their own masters in everything, to do what is wanted and not talk back,not pilfering, but showing all good faith, in order to bring credit to the teaching of God our Savior in everything.For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.It trains us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live self- controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,

Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and please God( as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more.For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

I run along the path of your commands, for you enable me to do so.ה( He)

so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another.For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment, namely,“ You must love your neighbor as yourself.”

Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right.“ Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely,“ that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth.”

“ For this is the covenant that I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and I will inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.

For I delight in the law of God in my inner being.

For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules:
