於無律法者我如無律法、以得無律法者、實我在天主前非無律法、乃在基督之律法下、

於法外之人、吾亦儼然以法外之人自居、所以感化法外之人也；實則就天主及基督之妙法言之、吾亦法內之人耳。

To those not having the law I became like one not having the law( though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.

To those who don’t have the law I became like one who doesn’t have the law. I did this even though I am not free from God’s law. I am under Christ’s law. Now I can win those who don’t have the law.

To those outside the law I became as one outside the law( not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.

When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.

To those who are without the law, like one without the law— though I am not without God’s law but under the law of Christ— to win those without the law.

to those who are without the Law, I became as one without the Law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might gain those who are without the Law.

to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.Art thou called[ being] a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use[ it] rather.For he that is called in the Lord,[ being] a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called,[ being] free, is Christ’s servant.

As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written[ and] concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from[ things] offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.The aged women likewise, that[ they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,[ To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine[ shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.[ Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters,[ and] to please[ them] well in all[ things]; not answering again;Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort[ you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,[ so] ye would abound more and more.For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only[ use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.For all the law is fulfilled in one word,[ even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.Honour thy father and mother;( which is the first commandment with promise;)That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

For this[ is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
