面對猶太人我就做猶太人，為了要贏得猶太人。面對守律法的人，我這不受律法束縛的人就守律法，為了要贏得守律法的人。

向犹太人，我就作犹太人，为要得犹太人；向律法以下的人，我虽不在律法以下，还是作律法以下的人，为要得律法以下的人。

对犹太人，我就作犹太人，为要赢得犹太人；对律法以下的人，我虽不在律法以下，还是作律法以下的人，为要赢得律法以下的人。

於猶太人、我則如猶太人、以獲猶太人、於律下人、我雖非在律下、乃如律下人、以獲律下人、

於猶太人我效之、以救猶太人、於法下人我效之、以救法下人、

於猶太人我如猶太人、以得猶太人、於律法下者我如律法下、以得律法下者、

故於猶太人、吾亦儼然以猶太人自居、所以感化猶太人也。於法內之人、吾亦儼然以法內之人自居、所以感化法內之人也；實則其法無與於我耳。

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law( though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.

To the Jews I became like a Jew. That was to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one who was under the law. I did this even though I myself am not under the law. That was to win those under the law.

To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law( though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law.

When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law.

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law— though I myself am not under the law— to win those under the law.

To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the Law, I became as one under the Law, though not being under the Law myself, so that I might gain those who are under the Law;

and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;

And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, not being myself under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law— though I myself am not under the law— to win those under the law.

保羅打算帶提摩太去傳福音。因為當地的猶太人都知道提摩太的父親是希臘人，保羅就給提摩太行了割禮。

但你們如果順從聖靈的引導，就不再受律法的約束。

大家聽了，都同聲讚美上帝，又對保羅說：「弟兄，你知道數以萬計的猶太人信了主，他們都嚴守律法。他們聽見有人說你教導住在外族人中的猶太人背棄摩西的律法，不替孩子行割禮，也不遵守猶太人的規矩。他們一定會聽到你來這裡的消息，這該怎麼辦？請你聽我們的建議，這裡有四位向上帝許過願的弟兄，你和他們一起去行潔淨禮，並由你替他們付費，讓他們可以剃頭，好叫眾人知道你嚴守律法，循規蹈矩，關於你的傳聞都是假的。至於那些外族信徒，我們已經寫信吩咐他們，不可吃祭過偶像的食物，不可吃血和勒死的牲畜，不可淫亂。」於是，保羅和四位弟兄第二天行了潔淨禮，然後上聖殿報告他們潔淨期滿的日子，好在期滿後讓祭司為他們每個人獻祭物。

希望使我的骨肉同胞心生嫉妒，好使他們當中的一些人得救。

我們知道律法所講的都是針對律法之下的人，好叫所有的人都無話可說，使全世界都伏在上帝的審判之下。

為要救贖一切受律法約束的人，使我們成為祂的兒女。

罪不能再主宰你們，因為你們已經不在律法之下，而是在恩典之中。那麼，我們在恩典之中，不在律法之下，就可以任意犯罪嗎？絕不可以！

保羅繼續在哥林多逗留了相當時日，才向弟兄姊妹道別。他和百基拉、亞居拉乘船前往敘利亞。保羅因為許過願，就在堅革哩剃了頭髮。

你們這些甘受律法約束的人啊！告訴我，你們沒聽過律法怎麼說嗎？

保羅照以往的習慣進入會堂，一連三個安息日引用聖經與當地人討論，解釋、證明基督必須受害，然後從死裡復活，又說：「我向你們宣講的這位耶穌就是基督。」
