What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.

既是这样，我的赏赐是什么呢？就是我传福音的时候叫人不花钱得福音，免得用尽我传福音的权柄。

那麼，我的報償到底是什麼呢？就是：我傳福音的時候，能免費地提供福音，好使我不會充分利用在福音工作上屬自己的權利。

然則我之賞維何、即宣福音、使人不費而得之、免我盡用福音之權也、

我自詡何歟、即傳基督福音、未嘗傷人之財、雖有權、而我不妄用其權、

然則我之賞何歟、即我傳基督之福音、使人無所費而得、不妄用我在福音所有之權、

然則吾果無報酬乎？曰：正惟吾傳福音而不受酬、而不享受權利、酬在其中矣。

What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights as a preacher of the gospel.

Then what reward do I get? Here is what it is. I am able to preach the good news free of charge. And I can do this without using all my rights as a person who preaches the good news.

What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

What then is my pay? It is the opportunity to preach the Good News without charging anyone. That’s why I never demand my rights when I preach the Good News.

What then is my reward? To preach the gospel and offer it free of charge and not make full use of my rights in the gospel.

What, then, is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.

What then is my reward? To preach the gospel and offer it free of charge and not make full use of my authority in the gospel.

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

Or I only and Barnabas, have we not a right to forbear working?What soldier ever serveth at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to the weak.

neither did we eat bread for nought at any man’s hand, but in labor and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you:not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.

even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.

and those that use the world, as not using it to the full: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

nor seeking glory of men, neither from you nor from others, when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.

Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I preached to you the gospel of God for nought?I robbed other churches, taking wages of them that I might minister unto you;and when I was present with you and was in want, I was not a burden on any man; for the brethren, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my want; and in everything I kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

For what is there wherein ye were made inferior to the rest of the churches, except it be that I myself was not a burden to you? forgive me this wrong.Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be a burden to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.And I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?But be it so, I did not myself burden you; but, being crafty, I caught you with guile.Did I take advantage of you by any one of them whom I have sent unto you?I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?

For if because of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer in love. Destroy not with thy meat him for whom Christ died.
