Don’t you know that those who perform the temple services eat the food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the offerings of the altar?

你们难道不知道，在圣殿里事奉的人可以吃圣殿里的食物，在祭坛前事奉的人可以分享祭坛上的祭物吗？

难道你们不知道，在圣殿供职的，就吃殿中的供物；侍候祭坛的，就分领坛上的祭物吗？

难道你们不知道，在圣殿供职的人，都吃圣殿中的食物；侍候祭坛的人，都一同享用祭坛上的供物吗？

你們豈不知為聖事勞碌的就吃殿中的物嗎？伺候祭壇的就分領壇上的物嗎？

你們豈不知在聖殿供職的人吃聖殿中的食物嗎？在祭壇伺候的人分享壇上的供物嗎？

你們豈不知在聖殿供職的人吃聖殿中的食物嗎？在祭壇伺候的人分享壇上的供物嗎？

你們難道不知道，在聖殿裡事奉的人可以吃聖殿裡的食物，在祭壇前事奉的人可以分享祭壇上的祭物嗎？

難道你們不知道，在聖殿供職的，就吃殿中的供物；侍候祭壇的，就分領壇上的祭物嗎？

豈不知為聖事作工的、喫殿中之物麼？侍候祭壇的、跟祭壇分物麼？

難道你們不知道，在聖殿供職的人，都吃聖殿中的食物；侍候祭壇的人，都一同享用祭壇上的供物嗎？

豈不知事聖事者食諸殿、侍祭壇者與於壇乎、

詎不知助祭司者食諸殿、侍祭壇者、頒諸壇乎、

爾豈不知務聖事者、由聖所得食乎、侍祭臺者、在祭臺有分乎、

爾豈不知『在殿靠殿、在壇食壇』乎？

Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?

People who serve in the temple get their food from the temple. Don’t you know this? People who serve at the altar eat from what is offered on the altar. Don’t you know this?

Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings?

Don’t you realize that those who work in the temple get their meals from the offerings brought to the temple? And those who serve at the altar get a share of the sacrificial offerings.

Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share from the altar?

Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar?

Know ye not that they that minister about sacred things eat of the things of the temple, and they that wait upon the altar have their portion with the altar?

Don’t you know that those who perform the temple services eat the food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the offerings of the altar?

Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live[ of the things] of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple eat food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar receive a part of the offerings?

Don’t you know that those who serve around sacred things eat from the things of the temple, and those who wait on the altar have their portion with the altar?

The priest who offers it as a sin offering will eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place, in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.

Then the LORD spoke to Aaron,“ Look, I have put you in charge of the contributions brought to me. As for all the holy offerings of the Israelites, I have given them to you and your sons as a portion and a permanent statute.A portion of the holiest offerings kept from the fire will be yours; every one of their offerings that they give me, whether the grain offering, sin offering, or guilt offering will be most holy for you and your sons.You are to eat it as a most holy offering. Every male may eat it; it is to be holy to you.“ The contribution of their gifts also belongs to you. I have given all the Israelites’ presentation offerings to you and to your sons and daughters as a permanent statute. Every ceremonially clean person in your house may eat it.I am giving you all the best of the fresh oil, new wine, and grain, which the Israelites give to the LORD as their firstfruits.The firstfruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to the LORD, belong to you. Every clean person in your house may eat them.“ Everything in Israel that is permanently dedicated to the LORD belongs to you.The firstborn of every living thing, human or animal, presented to the LORD belongs to you. But you must certainly redeem a human firstborn, and redeem the firstborn of an unclean animal.You will pay the redemption price for a month-old male according to your assessment: five shekels of silver by the standard sanctuary shekel, which is twenty gerahs.“ However, you must not redeem the firstborn of an ox, a sheep, or a goat; they are holy. You are to splatter their blood on the altar and burn their fat as a food offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD.But their meat belongs to you. It belongs to you like the breast of the presentation offering and the right thigh.“ I give to you and to your sons and daughters all the holy contributions that the Israelites present to the LORD as a permanent statute. It is a permanent covenant of salt before the LORD for you as well as your offspring.”The LORD told Aaron,“ You will not have an inheritance in their land; there will be no portion among them for you. I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.

Every holy contribution the Israelites present to the priest will be his.Each one’s holy contribution is his to give; what each one gives to the priest will be his.”

Consider the people of Israel. Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

Out of all the tribes of Israel, I chose your house to be my priests, to offer sacrifices on my altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in my presence. I also gave your forefather’s family all the Israelite food offerings.

“ The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi, will have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They will eat the LORD’s food offerings; that is their inheritance.Although Levi has no inheritance among his brothers, the LORD is his inheritance, as he promised him.This is the priests’ share from the people who offer a sacrifice, whether it is an ox, a sheep, or a goat; the priests are to be given the shoulder, jaws, and stomach.You are to give him the firstfruits of your grain, new wine, and fresh oil, and the first sheared wool of your flock.For the LORD your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes to stand and minister in his name from now on.

Any male among the priests may eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place; it is especially holy.“ The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the law is the same for both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.As for the priest who presents someone’s burnt offering, the hide of the burnt offering he has presented belongs to him; it is the priest’s.

Aaron and his sons may eat the rest of it. It is to be eaten in the form of unleavened bread in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.It must not be baked with yeast; I have assigned it as their portion from my food offerings. It is especially holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.Any male among Aaron’s descendants may eat it. It is a permanent portion throughout your generations from the food offerings to the LORD. Anything that touches the offerings will become holy.”

For this reason, Levi does not have a portion or inheritance like his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, as the LORD your God told him.
