他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為也、寧凡事容忍、免阻基督福音、

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、

他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、

他人尚且對爾享此權利、況吾儕乎？然吾儕向未行使此權、而甘受困乏者、蓋不欲在基督福音道上、置任何之障礙也。

If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.

Others have the right to receive help from you. Don’t we have even more right to do so? But we didn’t use that right. No, we have put up with everything. We didn’t want to keep the good news of Christ from spreading.

If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.

If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right; instead, we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.

What then is my reward? That when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News of Christ without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from those who desire an occasion, that in which they boast, they may be found even as we.

But I have used none of these things, and I don’t write these things that it may be done so in my case; for I would rather die, than that anyone should make my boasting void.

Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God’s Good News free of charge?I robbed other assemblies, taking wages from them that I might serve you.When I was present with you and was in need, I wasn’t a burden on anyone, for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my need. In everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will continue to do so.As the truth of Christ is in me, no one will stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn’t enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered.”

Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

and they all conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem, and to cause confusion among us.

Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

and because he practiced the same trade, he lived with them and worked, for by trade they were tent makers.

We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,

Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,

He said to them,“ Don’t hinder me, since Yahweh has prospered my way. Send me away that I may go to my master.”

If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you,not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.

Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.Now, brothers, I entrust you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.I coveted no one’s silver, gold, or clothing.You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities, and those who were with me.

I don’t write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, you don’t have many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.

nor seeking glory from men( neither from you nor from others), when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother cherishes her own children.Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us.For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.

For you bear with a man if he brings you into bondage, if he devours you, if he takes you captive, if he exalts himself, or if he strikes you on the face.

For what is there in which you were made inferior to the rest of the assemblies, unless it is that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong.Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I seek not your possessions, but you. For the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
