他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為也、寧凡事容忍、免阻基督福音、

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、

他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、

他人尚且對爾享此權利、況吾儕乎？然吾儕向未行使此權、而甘受困乏者、蓋不欲在基督福音道上、置任何之障礙也。

If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.

Others have the right to receive help from you. Don’t we have even more right to do so? But we didn’t use that right. No, we have put up with everything. We didn’t want to keep the good news of Christ from spreading.

If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.

If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right; instead, we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

我能得到什麼獎賞呢？就是我可以把福音白白地傳給人，不使用自己因傳福音而應有的權利。

我現在所做的，將來還會繼續做下去，為了要斷絕那些投機分子的機會，使他們無法吹噓自己的職分與我們一樣。

但是，我完全沒有使用這權利，如今我談這些事，並不是要你們這樣待我。因為我寧死也不要讓人抹摋我所誇耀的。

我為了把福音白白地傳給你們，甘願卑微，以擢升你們，我這樣做有罪嗎？我「搶奪」其他教會，拿了他們的資助，來服侍你們。我在你們那裡經濟拮据的時候，沒有拖累過你們任何人，因為馬其頓來的弟兄姊妹補足了我的缺乏。我沒有在任何方面成為你們的負擔，將來也不會成為你們的負擔。我憑我心中基督的真理說，亞該亞地區無人會阻止我這樣誇口。

「律法教師啊，你們有禍了！你們拿走了知識的鑰匙，自己不進去，還阻擋那些正要進去的人。」

你們互相指控，已經是很大的失敗，為什麼不能甘願受欺負、吃點虧呢？

便一起圖謀襲擊耶路撒冷，使城內混亂。

我們至今還是又饑又渴，衣不蔽體，遭受毒打，居無定所，還要親手勞作。我們被人咒罵，就為對方祝福；受人迫害，就逆來順受；

他們夫婦跟保羅是同行，都以製造帳篷為業，保羅就留下來和他們同住，一起做工。

為了避免有人毀謗我們的職分，我們凡事儘量不妨礙別人，

因此，我一直受到攔阻，不能到你們那裡。

可是，老總管說：「既然耶和華已經使我一路順利，請你們不要挽留我，請讓我回到我主人那裡。」

即使對別人來說我不是使徒，對你們來說我也是使徒，因為你們就是我在主裡作使徒的印證。

也沒有白吃誰的飯，而是晝夜辛勤工作，免得成為你們任何人的負擔。我們並不是沒有權利接受供應，而是要給你們樹立學習的榜樣。

所以你們一定要警醒，牢記這三年來我怎樣晝夜不住地流著淚勸誡你們。「現在，我把你們交託給上帝和祂充滿恩典的道，這道能造就你們，使你們與一切聖潔的人同得產業。我從未貪圖別人的金銀和衣服，你們都知道，我親手做工養活自己和同工。

我之所以寫這些事，並非是叫你們羞愧，而是像勸誡我親愛的兒女一樣勸誡你們。雖然有千萬老師將基督的事教導你們，但父親並不多，因為我藉著福音在基督耶穌裡成為你們的父親。

我們不求得到你們或其他任何人的讚揚。身為基督的使徒，我們理當受到你們的尊重，然而我們像母親撫育嬰兒一樣溫柔地對待你們。我們深愛你們，對你們有深厚的感情，不僅樂意把上帝的福音傳給你們，甚至把生命給你們也在所不惜。弟兄姊妹，你們一定記得我們的勞苦和艱難。我們一面向你們傳福音，一面晝夜辛勤工作，免得成為你們任何人的負擔。

就算有人奴役、剝削、利用、侮辱你們，打你們耳光，你們都能逆來順受！

你們什麼地方不及其他教會呢？我唯一「虧待」你們的地方就是沒有成為你們的負擔！希望各位原諒我的不公道！如今我打算第三次到你們那裡。我不會拖累你們的，因為我想得到的是你們，而不是你們的財物。兒女不必為父母積財，父母理當為兒女積財。
