關於祭肉問題、吾人固知偶像皆屬子虛烏有；亦知天主之外更無真神。

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol[ is] nothing in the world, and that[ there is] none other God but one.

看哪，你们连无有都算不上，你们的作为连虚无也够不上；那选择你们的是可憎恶的！

一位神——就是万有之父，他超越万有，贯通万有，在万有之中。

耶和华以色列的王，以色列的救赎主，万军之耶和华如此说：“我是首先的，我也是末后的。除我以外没有神。

喊着说：“各位，你们为什么做这些事呢？我们和你们同样是人！我们向你们传福音，是要你们离弃这些虚妄的事，归向永生的神，就是造了天、地、海和其中万有的神。

“坐在基路伯之上的万军之耶和华，以色列的神哪！唯独你——你是地上万国的神，是你造了诸天和大地。

可是你们看见了也听见了，这个保罗不仅在以弗所也几乎在全亚细亚省，说服、引诱了一大群人，说‘人手所造的不是神’。

那么，我怎么说呢？难道说祭过偶像的食物算得了什么吗？或说，偶像算得了什么吗？不，我是说，外邦人所献的祭是献给鬼魔的，不是献给神的；而我不愿意你们成为与鬼魔有份的人。

我是耶和华，别无其二；除我以外没有神。你虽然不认识我，我却装备你；

耶和华如此说：“埃及的辛苦所得、库实的盈利所得、身材高大的西巴人，都必来到你这里、归属你；他们必戴着锁链来跟随你，向你下拜，向你承认说：‘神真是在你们中间，别无其二，没有别的神！’”

因为，如果有人看见你这有知识的人在偶像的庙里坐席，难道不就鼓励了他软弱的良心，使他也去吃那祭过偶像的食物吗？

列国的偶像是银的、金的，是人手所做的：它们有嘴却不能说，有眼却不能看；有耳却不能听，有鼻却不能闻；有手却不能摸，有脚却不能走，也不能用喉咙发出声音。那些造它们的、所有依靠它们的，都会像它们那样。

耶和华我们的神哪，现在求你拯救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道，唯独你——你是耶和华！”

但对我们来说，只有一位神，就是父，万有都出于他，我们也归于他；并且只有一位主，就是耶稣基督，万有都藉着他而有，我们也藉着他而有。然而，不是所有的人都有这知识。有些人因习惯了偶像，至今还以为所吃的是祭过偶像的食物。他们的良心因为软弱，就被玷污了。

关于祭过偶像的食物，我们知道“我们都有知识。”知识使人自我膨胀，但是爱能造就人。

你们不要惧怕，也不要害怕！难道我从前不就告知了你们、向你们宣告了吗？你们是我的见证人！除我以外，难道还有神吗？没有别的磐石！我知道没有！”塑造偶像的全都虚空，他们所喜爱的毫无益处；为偶像本身作见证的，一无所见，一无所知，他们都必蒙羞。

愿荣耀、尊严、大能、权柄，藉着我们的主耶稣基督归于独一的神我们的救主，从万古以前到现在，直到永永远远！阿们。

愿尊贵和荣耀归于那万世之王，就是那不朽坏的、不可见的、独一的神，直到永永远远！阿们。
