關於祭肉問題、吾人固知偶像皆屬子虛烏有；亦知天主之外更無真神。

Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no God but one.

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol[ is] nothing in the world, and that[ there is] none other God but one.

With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that“ an idol in this world is nothing,” and that“ there is no God but one.”

Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

“ Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

Look, you are nothing and your work is worthless. Anyone who chooses you is detestable.

Today, recognize and keep in mind that the LORD is God in heaven above and on earth below; there is no other.

one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

This is what the LORD, the King of Israel and its Redeemer, the LORD of Armies, says: I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

Jesus answered,“ The most important is Listen, Israel! The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

This is what the LORD, your Redeemer who formed you from the womb, says: I am the LORD, who made everything; who stretched out the heavens by myself; who alone spread out the earth;

You were shown these things so that you would know that the LORD is God; there is no other besides him.

“ People! Why are you doing these things? We are people also, just like you, and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.

LORD of Armies, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you are God— you alone— of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.

Everyone is stupid and ignorant. Every goldsmith is put to shame by his carved image, for his cast images are a lie; there is no breath in them.They are worthless, a work to be mocked. At the time of their punishment they will be destroyed.

Woe to him who says to wood: Wake up! or to mute stone: Come alive! Can it teach? Look! It may be plated with gold and silver, yet there is no breath in it at all.But the LORD is in his holy temple; let the whole earth be silent in his presence.

You see and hear that not only in Ephesus, but in almost all of Asia, this man Paul has persuaded and misled a considerable number of people by saying that gods made by hand are not gods.

What am I saying then? That food sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?No, but I do say that what they sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons!

I am the LORD, and there is no other; there is no God but me. I will strengthen you, though you do not know me,

Lord GOD, you have begun to show your greatness and your strong hand to your servant, for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can perform deeds and mighty acts like yours?

This is what the LORD says:“ The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush and the Sabeans, men of stature, will come over to you and will be yours; they will follow you, they will come over in chains and bow down to you. They will confess to you,‘ God is indeed with you, and there is no other; there is no other God.’”

For if someone sees you, the one who has knowledge, dining in an idol’s temple, won’t his weak conscience be encouraged to eat food offered to idols?

Their idols are silver and gold, made by human hands.They have mouths but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.They have ears but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell.They have hands but cannot feel, feet, but cannot walk. They cannot make a sound with their throats.Those who make them are just like them, as are all who trust in them.

Now, LORD our God, save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, LORD, are God— you alone.

yet for us there is one God, the Father. All things are from him, and we exist for him. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ. All things are through him, and we exist through him.However, not everyone has this knowledge. Some have been so used to idolatry up until now that when they eat food sacrificed to an idol, their conscience, being weak, is defiled.

Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that“ we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

Do not be startled or afraid. Have I not told you and declared it long ago? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other Rock; I do not know any.All who make idols are nothing, and what they treasure benefits no one. Their witnesses do not see or know anything, so they will be put to shame.

Everyone is stupid and ignorant. Every goldsmith is put to shame by his carved image, for his cast images are a lie; there is no breath in them.

to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen.

See now that I alone am he; there is no God but me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal. No one can rescue anyone from my power.

But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God and eternal King. The earth quakes at his wrath, and the nations cannot endure his fury.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
