最後尚有一言、以奉兄弟：凡屬真實無妄、溫雅有度、公正高尚、可愛可喜、可歌可泣之事、苟有一德之美、片善之著、皆爾所當盡心也。

年長婦女、舉止亦宜溫恭有禮、毋道人短、或沉湎於酒、務須循循善誘、

如經雙方同意、為專務祈禱、暫時分居、則亦無妨。惟事後仍宜同居、恐因節制過度、反授沙殫以邪誘之機耳。然吾作此論、乃係體諒人情、非命令也。依我心意、固願人人能如我也。惟各人所秉賦於天主者、不能盡同；甲長於此、乙長於彼、固不可相提並論也。對於尚未結婚之人、及守寡之婦、我則曰以我為法可也。然彼等如不耐獨身、則亦不妨婚嫁；與其慾火焚身、何如琴瑟和諧之為愈乎。

瑪大忙於治席、向主訴曰：『妹任我獨自操勞、主寧無顧？請命之起而襄助。』主應曰：『瑪大！瑪大！爾煩心焦慮、所務何多！然所需者、一而已矣！瑪麗所選、乃其善者、志之所在、不可奪也。』

尚其慎旃！莫使爾之心靈、困於酒食、蔽於世慮；蓋彼日將突然臨爾、有如陷穽、天網恢恢、

至於奸非浮穢貪婪之事、非聖徒所可道也。
