婦與童女有別、無夫者慮主之事、欲其身與神皆成聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

無夫者及處女、亦能專心事主、惟求神形之聖潔，有夫者則注意世故、兼欲取悅於夫矣。

and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world— how she can please her husband.

His concerns pull him in two directions. A single woman or a virgin is concerned about the Lord’s matters. She wants to serve the Lord with both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the matters of this world. She wants to know how she can please her husband.

and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.

His interests are divided. In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. But a married woman has to think about her earthly responsibilities and how to please her husband.

玛妲为了很多伺候的事就心里烦乱，上前来说：“主啊，我妹妹丢下我一个人伺候，你不管吗？请叫她来帮我的忙吧。”主回答她，说：“玛妲，玛妲，你为很多事忧虑、烦恼，但是有一件事是需要的，而玛丽亚选择了那美好的一份，是不能从她那里被拿去的。”

我的热切盼望和期待是：我在任何事上都将不至于蒙羞；而现在也能像往常一样，无论藉着生，还是藉着死，总要满有胆量地让基督在我身上被尊为大。

有一个女先知安娜，是亚设支派法努埃的女儿。她已经上了年纪，是出嫁以后与丈夫生活了七年的，后来守寡了，现在已经八十四岁。她从不离开圣殿，禁食祈祷，日夜事奉神。

所以弟兄们，我藉着神的各样怜悯劝你们，要把自己的身体献上，做为圣洁、蒙神喜悦的活祭；这是你们理所当然的事奉。不要效法这世代，要藉着理性的更新而改变，使你们可以分辨什么是神的旨意——那美善、可喜悦、完美的旨意。

除了这些外在的事，还有对各教会的挂虑，天天压在我身上。

因为你们是被重价赎回来的。所以，你们应当用自己的身体荣耀神。

看哪，原来正是这件事——你们按神的意思忧伤——在你们里面带来了何等的殷勤、分辩、义愤、敬畏、渴望、热心和惩罚。你们在各方面都证明了自己在那件事上是纯洁的。因此我虽然给你们写了信，但不是为了那亏负人的，也不是为了那受亏负的，而是为了在神面前把你们对我们的殷勤，向你们显明出来。

愿赐平安的神亲自使你们完全分别为圣。愿你们的灵、魂、体，在我们的主耶稣基督来临的时候，全然得蒙保守、无可指责。

这话是信实的。我希望你强调这些事，好让那些信了神的人专心投入美好的工作；这些事对人是好事，是有益处的。

但如果有人不知道怎么带领自己的家，他怎么能照顾神的教会呢？

也不要把你们身体的任何部分献给罪，做不义的器具；相反，要像从死人中复活的人，把自己献给神，并把身体的各部分做义的器具献给神。

感谢神，他为了你们，把同样的殷勤放在提多的心里。
