無夫者及處女、亦能專心事主、惟求神形之聖潔，有夫者則注意世故、兼欲取悅於夫矣。

and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world— how she can please her husband.

His concerns pull him in two directions. A single woman or a virgin is concerned about the Lord’s matters. She wants to serve the Lord with both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the matters of this world. She wants to know how she can please her husband.

and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.

His interests are divided. In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. But a married woman has to think about her earthly responsibilities and how to please her husband.

马大被许多要作的事，弄得心烦意乱，就上前来，说：“主啊，我妹妹让我一个人侍候，你不理吗？请吩咐她来帮助我。”主回答她：“马大，马大，你为许多事操心忙碌，但是最需要的只有一件，马利亚已经选择了那上好的分，是不能从她夺去的。”

我所热切期待和盼望的，就是在凡事上我都不会羞愧，只要满有胆量，不论生死，总要让基督在我身上照常被尊为大。

又有一个女先知，就是亚拿，是亚设支派法内利的女儿。她已经上了年纪，从童女出嫁，和丈夫住了七年，就寡居了，直到八十四岁（“就寡居了，直到八十四岁”或译：“就寡居了八十四年”）。她没有离开过圣殿，以禁食和祷告昼夜事奉主。

所以弟兄们，我凭着神的仁慈劝你们，要把身体献上，作圣洁而蒙神悦纳的活祭；这是你们理所当然的事奉（“理所当然的事奉”或译：“属灵的敬拜”）。不要模仿这个世代，倒要藉着心意的更新而改变过来，使你们可以察验出什么是神的旨意，就是察验出什么是美好的、蒙他悦纳的和完全的事。

除了这些外面的事，还有为各教会挂心的事，天天压在我的身上。

因为你们是用重价买来的。所以你们务要用自己的身体荣耀神。

看哪，你们依照神的意思忧伤，在你们中间就产生了怎样的热情、申诉、愤慨、战兢、渴望、热诚、正义；你们在各方面都表明了自己在那事上是清白的。因此，从前我虽然写过信给你们，却不是为了那亏负人的，也不是为了那受害的，而是在神面前把你们对我们的热情，向你们显现出来。

愿赐平安的神亲自使你们完全成圣，又愿你们整个人：灵、魂和身体都得蒙保守，在我们的主耶稣基督再来的时候，无可指摘。

这话是可信的，我愿你确实地强调这些事，使信神的人常常留心作善工；这些都是美事，并且是对人有益的。

（人若不知道怎样管理自己的家，怎能照料神的教会呢？）

也不要把你们的肢体献给罪，作不义的用具；倒要像出死得生的人，把自己献给神，并且把你们的肢体献给神作义的用具。
