Were you a bondservant when called? Do not be concerned about it.( But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity.)

無論猶太希利尼、主僕、男女、其為宗基督耶穌、一也、

務絕貪婪、以己所有為足、上帝曰、吾不須臾遐棄爾、

夫既服役為奴、則務敬厥主、免上帝名與教見譏於人、有宗教為爾主者、勿以同教兄弟而生藐視、必服事維勤、以其宗教可愛、宜獲爾益、此當勸誨焉、有人傳異教、背吾主耶穌基督正理棄敬虔之至道、

以所慮之事付上帝、上帝眷顧爾、

毋殷憂、萬事當自陳、祈禱謝恩、籲告上帝、

我言此、非不足故也、以我之學、不論所遇、莫不自得、

自當謹慎、勿以饜飫沉湎、世之憧擾累心、恐其日突然臨爾、
