That person’s praise is not from people but from God.

There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male and female; since you are all one in Christ Jesus.

This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commands.The one who says,“ I have come to know him,” and yet doesn’t keep his commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

This is how we know that we love God’s children: when we love God and obey his commands.For this is what love for God is: to keep his commands. And his commands are not a burden,

Then Samuel said: Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

for when I brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak with them or command them concerning burnt offering and sacrifice.However, I did give them this command:‘ Obey me, and then I will be your God, and you will be my people. Food will not bring us close to God. We are not worse off if we don’t eat, and we are not better if we do eat.
