Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

But each believer should live in whatever situation the Lord has given them. Stay as you were when God chose you. That’s the rule all the churches must follow.

Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches.

弟兄們，你們各人蒙召的時候是甚麼身份，要在神面前守住這身份。

我憑着所賜我的恩對你們每一位說：不要把自己看得太高，要照着神所分給各人的信心來衡量，看得合乎中道。正如我們一個身子上有好些肢體，肢體也不都有一樣的用處。這樣，我們許多人在基督裏是一個身體，互相聯絡作肢體。按着所得的恩典，我們各有不同的恩賜：或說預言，要按着信心的程度說預言；或服事的，要專一服事；或教導的，要專一教導；或勸勉的，要專一勸勉；施捨的，要誠實；治理的，要殷勤；憐憫人的，要樂意。

除了這些外表的事以外，我還有為眾教會操心的事天天壓在我身上。

有人受割禮後才蒙召，他就不必除去割禮的記號。有人未受割禮前蒙召，他就不必受割禮。

各人蒙召的時候是甚麼身份，要守住這身份。你是作奴隸時蒙召的嗎？不要介意；若能獲得自由，就爭取自由更好。

我們還差遣一位弟兄和他同去，這人在傳福音的事上得了眾教會的稱讚；

因為神不是叫人混亂，而是叫人和諧的神。在聖徒的眾教會中，

因為有人從母腹裏就是不宜結婚的，也有因人為的緣故不宜結婚的，並有為天國的緣故自己不結婚的。這話誰能領受，就領受吧。」

我願眾人像我一樣；但是各人都有來自神的恩賜，一個是這樣，一個是那樣。

人人要照自己所得的恩賜彼此服事，作神各種恩賜的好管家。若有人講道，他要按着神的聖言講；若有人服事，他要按着神所賜的力量服事，好讓神在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。願榮耀和權能都歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！
