But she was unfaithful to him. She left him and went back to her parents’ home in Bethlehem, Judah. After she had been there four months,her husband went to her to persuade her to return. He had with him his servant and two donkeys. She took him into her parents’ home, and when her father saw him, he gladly welcomed him. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away. (niv)

“ If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him and marries another man, should he return to her again? Would not the land be completely defiled? But you have lived as a prostitute with many lovers— would you now return to me?” declares the Lord. (niv)

Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking,“ Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” (niv)

To the married I give this command( not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. (niv)
