Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality,that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor,not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God,that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.

( all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?These things indeed appear like wisdom in self- imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body; but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

and all ate the same spiritual food;and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
