You say,“ Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

豈不知你們的身體就是聖靈的殿堂麼？聖靈是那在你們裏面的、是你們從上帝那裏得來的。你們又不是屬於自己的；

豈不曉得你們乃是上帝的殿堂，上帝的靈住在你們裏面麼？

所以不可容罪在你們能死的身體上掌王權，以致聽從它的私慾。

豈不了解，凡入口裏的，運到肚子裏，又被排泄出來到廁所裏去麼？

因為丈夫是妻子的頭，正如基督是教會的頭。他就是那「身體」的拯救者。

豈不知你們的身體就是基督的肢體麼？那麼、我豈可以拿基督的肢體、去做妓女的肢體呢？斷乎不可。

上帝的旨意是要你們聖化：他要你們禁戒淫亂，要你們各人曉得以聖化和自尊、擁有自己的妻子。不用私慾的邪情、像那些不認識上帝的外國人那樣。他要你們各人在這事上不越分、而佔他弟兄的便宜；因為關於這一切事、主是處罰者；這也是我們先前對你說過、而鄭重證明的。上帝並不是召我們去沾染污穢，乃是召我們於聖化的。

（而規例中所指的又都是以沿用而至於敗壞的東西）隨着人的誡律和教條呢？這種規例、於牽強的崇拜和卑抑自己以及身體之刻苦、徒有智慧之名，在克制肉體之放縱上實毫無價值的。

因為上帝的國不在乎喫喝，乃在乎正義和平與喜樂都在聖靈之感動中。

因為不是進了他的心，乃是入了他的肚子，又放出來到廁所裏，使各樣食物都化淨了。』

別為那必敗壞的食品作工了，要為那存歸永生的食品作工，就是人子所要給你們的，因為人子乃是父上帝所蓋印承認的。』

我們沒有一個人單為自己而活，也沒有一個人單為自己而死。我們若活着，是為主而活；若死了，是為主而死；所以我們或活或死，總是屬主的人。為了這目的、基督死了，又活過來了，為的是、不但可以做活人的主，也可以做死人的主。

所以弟兄們，我憑着上帝的憐憫勸你們、將你們的身體獻上做祭物，是活的，是聖別的，是上帝所喜歡的，是你們心神的事奉。

你們的祖宗在野地裏喫過嗎哪，還是死了。

所以你們呢、我的弟兄們，你們因屬於基督的身體、對於律法也可被看為已死的、可以歸於別人的，就是歸於那從死人中得甦活起來的，好叫我們可以給上帝結果子。

他替眾人死，是要叫活着的人不再為自己而活，乃要為那替他們死而得甦活起來的活。

這一切都是能使人俗污的；至於不洗手喫飯呢，那是不能使人俗污的。』

都喫了一樣的靈食，也都喝了一樣的靈飲，從隨行着的屬靈磐石上喝的：那磐石就是上帝所膏立者基督。然而他們大多數人、上帝並不喜悅：他們都在野地覆亡了。

我以上帝的妒愛妒愛你們，把你們許配了一位獨一的丈夫，好把你們做貞潔的童女獻與基督。
