盜竊者、沈湎者、詬詈者、勒索者、皆不得天主國、

作盜賊、貪污、沉湎、謗人、勒索之徒、未有能承受天主之國者也。

nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom.

其實我寫給你們的是：若有人名為弟兄，實在是嫖妓或作男倡的、或貪婪的、或拜偶像的、或辱罵人的、或醉酒的、或勒索人的，你們就不可和他交往。就是和這樣的人一同喫飯也不可，

嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴、以及和這一些相類似的事。這些事我現在給你們說明了，正如我說明過的：行這樣事的人必不能承受上帝的國。

這國的人民一味欺壓人，慣行搶奪，欺負困苦貧窮的，欺壓寄居的、毫無公道。

蛇啊，毒蛇的種啊，你們怎能逃避地獄的定罪呢？

偷竊的別再偷竊了；寧可勞苦、親手作正經事，好有敷餘、可分給缺乏的人。

她的首領在她裏邊正彷彿豺狼抓撕所抓到之物；他們行兇流人的血，殺滅人的性命，要得不義之財。

你們中間別有人因做兇手或盜賊、或為非作惡、或騷擾社會、而受苦了。

他說這話、不是因為他關心於窮人；乃是因為他是賊，帶着錢匣，常竊取人所投的。

他要你們各人在這事上不越分、而佔他弟兄的便宜；因為關於這一切事、主是處罰者；這也是我們先前對你說過、而鄭重證明的。

你啊、你恨惡管教，卻將我的話丟在背後。你見了盜賊，就樂意跟他同夥；你又和行姦淫的人一同有分。

『所以你看，我因你所得的不義之財、又因你中間所有流人血的事，我就拍掌歎息。

這稱為我名下的殿、在你們眼中看就作為兇暴人的洞穴麼？你瞧着吧，我都看見了：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

你的大官倔強要造反，跟盜賊作伴；個個都喜愛賄賂，追求私酬；他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的案件呈不到他們面前。

『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們當人面前把天國關起來；你們自己不進入，又不容那正進入的人進入。

看見一棵無花果樹在路旁，就走到那裏，卻找不着甚麼在那樹上，不過單有葉子，於是對那樹說：『今後你永遠不能再結果子了！』那無花果樹立時就枯乾。
