nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom.

我的意思是，若有人自稱是信徒，卻淫亂、貪婪、祭拜偶像、毀謗、酗酒、欺詐，你們不要和他們交往，甚至不要和他們一起吃飯。

嫉妒、兇殺、醉酒和荒宴無度等。我從前警告過你們，現在再一次警告你們：行這些事的人必不能承受上帝的國。

你的居民強取豪奪，欺壓貧困的，虐待寄居的，無法無天。

你們這些蛇，這些毒蛇的後代啊，你們怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？

從前偷竊的要改過自新，自食其力，做正當事，以便能夠分給有需要的人。

你的首領好像撕碎獵物的豺狼，殺人流血，謀取不義之財。

你們誰也不可因殺人、偷盜、作惡或管閒事而受苦。

他這樣說不是因為他真的關心窮人，其實他是個賊，常常藉管錢的機會中飽私囊。

你們在這種事上不可越軌，虧負弟兄姊妹。我們曾經對你們說過，並且鄭重地警告過你們，主必懲治犯這種罪的人。

你憎惡我的管教，把我的話拋在腦後。你見了盜賊就與他同流合污，又喜歡與淫亂的人交往。

「『我見你謀財害命，就擊掌歎息。

難道這用來敬拜我的殿在你們眼中竟成了賊窩？這些事，我都看在眼裡。這是耶和華說的。

你的首領是叛逆之徒，與盜賊為伍，個個收受賄賂，貪圖好處，不為孤兒辯護，不替寡婦伸冤。

「虛偽的律法教師和法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！因為你們當著人們的面關閉天國之門，自己不進去，也不讓別人進去。

祂看見路旁有一棵無花果樹，便走過去，卻發現除了葉子外什麼也沒有。祂對那棵樹說：「你將再不會結果子！」那棵樹立刻枯萎了。
