其中有許米乃和亞力山大，我已把他們放交給撒但，使他們受教督、而不再行褻瀆。

若有人不聽從我們由這書信所囑咐的話。這樣的人、你們要記下來，別和他交往，讓他自覺羞愧；可也別看他為仇敵了，乃要勸戒他像弟兄。

弟兄們，縱使有人一時衝動被某種過犯所勝，你們屬靈的人也要以柔和的心靈把這樣的人改正過來。你也要察看自己，免得你也被試誘。彼此的重擔、要互助挑擔，這樣就行盡基督的律法了。

我的弟兄們，你們中間若有人失迷、離開了真理，而有人使他回轉過來，你們該知道，叫一個罪人從失迷路上回轉過來的、必拯救他的靈魂出死，也必掩沒許多的罪。

故此我和你們不同在時寫了這些話，好讓我和你們同在時不必照主所賜給我、那為建立而不為攻倒、的權柄、嚴厲地措置。

而上帝審判會外人麼？把那個惡人從你們中間革除掉！

永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，他都讓你手擺布；只是他的性命你卻要保存。』

我並且準備好了、要在你們完全聽從時、責罰一切之不聽從。

你用刑杖擊打他，你卻可以援救他不早下陰間。

去開他們的眼，使他們從黑暗中轉到光中，從撒但的權下轉向上帝，使他們獲得罪赦，又得業分、在因信我而成聖別的人中間。」

這樣的人受了多數人的責罰、也足夠了；倒不如饒恕勸慰他好，恐怕這樣的人被過度的憂愁所吞滅。

然而若受主審判，乃是受主懲罰管教，免得跟世人一同受定罪。

有些人存疑心，你們要憐恤；要拯救、從火中攫出；有些人、你們要存着畏懼的心去憐恤；連那由肉體沾污的裏衣、你們也要恨惡。

基督也必使你們堅固到末了，在我們主耶穌基督的日子、無可指責。

人若看見他弟兄犯了不至於死的罪，他就會為他求，上帝就要把生命給他，給那犯不至於死的罪的。但也有能至於死的罪；我們不是說他該為那個求問。

來期待、來催促上帝日子之來臨呢？為了這個、天必被火燒𤏲而消毁，星辰必因烈熾而熔化。

願你派一個惡人來管轄他，派一個對頭站在他右邊來控告他。

我深信那在你們身上開始了善工的、到基督耶穌的日子總必作成它。
