至於外面的人，神會審判他們；而「你們應當把那邪惡的人從你們裡面除去。」

這樣的人，受了大多數人的那懲罰已經夠了。所以，你們反而更要饒恕他、安慰他，免得他被過度的憂傷吞沒了。

即使我們受懲罰，也是在受主的管教，免得我們和這世界一同被定罪。

有些人疑惑不定，你們要憐憫他們；有些人，你們要把他們從火裡搶出來，拯救他們；有些人，你們要懷著懼怕的心憐憫他們，連他們被肉慾玷汙的衣服也要恨惡。

他也將使你們堅定到底，使你們在我們主耶穌基督的日子無可指責。

如果有人看見自己的弟兄在犯不至於死的罪，就應該為他祈求；這樣，神將把生命賜給他，就是給那些犯不至於死的罪的人。有一種罪是至於死的；關於那種罪我不說要祈求。

等候並催促神的日子來臨。因為在那日，諸天將被焚燒而廢除，天體要被火焚燒而熔化。

求你派一個惡人對付他，讓一個控告者站在他的右邊。

我正是深信這一點：就是在你們裡面開始了美善工作的那一位，將會完成這工作，直到基督耶穌的日子。

願主使他在那日子得到主的憐憫！至於他在以弗所的一切服事工作，你知道得更清楚。
