弟兄姊妹，如果有人不慎犯了罪，你们顺从圣灵的人就应该温柔地挽回他，同时也要小心，免得自己也受诱惑。你们要分担彼此的重担，这样就成全了基督的律法。

我的弟兄姊妹，如果有人领一个偏离真道的人归回正路，他该知道：使一个迷途中的罪人归回正路就是救一个灵魂脱离死亡，并且会遮盖许多罪。

我写这封信是预先警告你们，免得我到你们当中的时候，必须运用基督给我的权柄严厉地对待你们。基督赐给我这权柄是为了造就人，不是毁坏人。

上帝自会审判教会以外的人，你们要把那邪恶的人从你们当中赶出去。

耶和华说：“好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。”

等你们完全顺服主后，我们就要惩罚那些叛逆的人。

杖责能救他脱离死亡。

去开他们的眼睛，使他们弃暗投明，脱离魔鬼的权势，归向上帝，好叫他们的罪得到赦免，与所有因信我而圣洁的人同得基业。’

这样的人受了众人的谴责也就够了。你们现在要饶恕他、安慰他，免得他忧伤过度而一蹶不振。

主审判我们，是对我们的管教，免得我们和世人一同被定罪。

那些心存疑惑的人，你们要怜悯他们；有些人，你们要将他们从火中抢救出来；还有些人，你们要怀着畏惧的心怜悯他们，甚至要厌恶被他们的邪情私欲玷污的衣服。

我们的主耶稣基督必扶持你们到底，使你们在祂再来的日子无可指责。

若有人看见信徒犯了不至于死的罪，就当为他祷告，上帝必将生命赐给他。有的罪会导致死亡，我并不是说你们要为这样的罪祷告。

求你差恶人攻击我的仇敌，派人站在他右边控告他。

我深信，上帝既然在你们心里开始了这美好的工作，祂必在耶稣基督再来的时候完成这工作。

你很清楚，他从前在以弗所怎样在各个方面服侍我。愿主再来时格外地怜悯他。
