So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,

即爾會集之時、我神亦偕爾、奉我主耶穌基督之名、託我主耶穌基督之權、

爾等奉耶穌基督名義召集會議、吾之神魂亦必參加斯會；

So when you come together, I will be with you in spirit. The power of our Lord Jesus will also be with you.

If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you.

This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority— the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them:“ By what power or what name did you do this?”Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them:“ Rulers and elders of the people!If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed,then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.Jesus is“‘ the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Another reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven— if there was anything to forgive— I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
