And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth.”

Here stand the thrones where judgment is given, the thrones of the dynasty of David.Pray for peace in Jerusalem. What sorrow awaits you who are fat and prosperous now, for a time of awful hunger awaits you. What sorrow awaits you who laugh now, for your laughing will turn to mourning and sorrow.

You say,‘ I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.

A person who promises a gift but doesn’t give it is like clouds and wind that bring no rain.

We are glad to seem weak if it helps show that you are actually strong. We pray that you will become mature.

After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you!Yes, you are our pride and joy.

Some who are poor pretend to be rich; others who are rich pretend to be poor.

Your boasting about this is terrible. Don’t you realize that this sin is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough?
