儻上帝許之、我則行此、

今有人意我不來而自矜、

寧言若主有旨、我儕且生、行此行彼、

經其四境、以多端勸眾、則至希臘、

我意已決、不復以憂就爾、我若令爾憂、則我所令憂者外、孰令我樂乎、

若有飢者、食於家可也、免爾以會集干鞫、其餘我至時整飭之、

我願爾眾言方言、尤願爾預言、蓋言方言者、若不譯之、使會建立、則預言者較之為大矣、

致循上帝旨、欣然就爾、偕爾獲安、

我籲上帝以我心作證、我不適哥林多者、寬容爾也、

我據此素欲就爾、俾復獲益、且由爾適馬其頓、復自馬其頓就爾、得爾送行、往於猶太、我斯意豈輕躁乎、我所擬豈狥情而有是是非非乎、

我經行馬其頓時、則將就爾、蓋我欲經行馬其頓也、

然我言智於成人、非斯世之智、亦非斯世掌權者之智、以其必敗也、
