But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have.

卻辭別他們說：“神若許可，我還要回到你們這裡來。”於是從以弗所開船去了。

這些事以後，保羅心裡定意要經過馬其頓、亞該亞，往耶路撒冷去。他說：“我到了那邊以後，也該去羅馬看看。”

這是我第三次到你們那裡去，各樣事情必須憑兩三個證人的口，才能確定。我第二次到你們那裡去的時候說過，現今不在你們那裡，再預先對那些從前犯了罪的和其餘的人說：我若再來，必不寬容，因為你們在找基督藉著我說話的憑據。基督對你們不是軟弱的，相反地，在你們身上是有能力的。他因著軟弱被釘死了，卻靠著神的大能活著。我們在他裡面也是軟弱的，但靠著神向你們所顯的大能，也必與他一同活著。

只要神允許，我們就這樣作。

有人以為我不會到你們那裡去，就自高自大。

你們倒不如說：“主若願意，我們就可以活著，作這事或作那事。”

他走遍那一帶地方，用許多話勸勉眾人，然後來到希臘。

我自己決定了，到你們那裡去的時候，不再是憂愁的。如果我使你們憂愁，除了那因我而憂愁的人以外，誰能使我快樂呢？

如果有人餓了，就應當在家裡先吃，免得你們聚集在一起的時候受到審判。其餘的事，我來的時候再作安排。

我願意你們都說方言，但我更願意你們都講道；因為那說方言的，如果不翻譯出來使教會得著造就，就遠不如那講道的了。

也使我照著神的旨意，高高興興地到你們那裡去，好和你們一同得到安息。

我呼求神給我作證，我沒有再到哥林多來，是要寬容你們。

我既然有這樣的信念，就打算先到你們那裡，使你們再一次得到恩惠，然後經過你們那裡，往馬其頓去，再從馬其頓回到你們中間，讓你們給我送行往猶太去。我這樣決定，難道是反覆不定嗎？我所決定的，難道是體貼肉體而定，使我忽是忽非嗎？

我現在正要路過馬其頓。過了馬其頓，我就會到你們那裡去。

然而在信心成熟的人中間，我們也講智慧，但不是這世代的智慧，也不是這世代將要滅亡的執政者的智慧。
