因為你們仍然是屬肉體的。既然你們中間有嫉妒、紛爭和分裂，難道你們不就是屬肉體的，按人的意思來行事的嗎？

蓋爾尚屬形軀、爾中有媢嫉爭鬥、豈非屬形軀、效世人而行乎、

爾曹尚從欲、有媢嫉、爭鬥、釁隙、豈非從欲而狥人意乎、

蓋爾尚為屬肉者、爾中有娼嫉、爭鬥、釁隙、豈爾非屬肉、循人意而行乎、

蓋依然未脫本性也。爾中一日有相妒相爭之事、即一日未克進於超性之境、而脫盡世俗之習。

You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?

You are still following the ways of the world. Some of you are jealous. Some of you argue. So aren’t you following the ways of the world? Aren’t you acting like ordinary human beings?

for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?

for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world?

because you are still worldly. For since there is envy and strife among you, are you not worldly and behaving like mere humans?

for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like ordinary people?

for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?

for ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk after the manner of men?

because you are still fleshly. For since there is envy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and living like unbelievers?

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas[ there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

for you are still influenced by the flesh. For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people?

for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?

在何處有嫉妒、自私，在何處就有動亂和各樣的壞事。

首先，我聽說你們教會聚會的時候有分裂的事，我也有些相信這話。

我們從前也是無知、悖逆、受迷惑，作各樣私慾和宴樂的奴隸，在惡毒、嫉妒中度日，是可恨的，而且彼此相恨。

你們中間的衝突是哪裏來的？爭執是哪裏來的？不是從你們肢體中交戰着的私慾來的嗎？你們貪戀，得不着就殺人；你們嫉妒，不能得手就起爭執和衝突；你們得不着，是因為你們不求。

我怕我再來的時候，見你們不合我所期望的，而你們見我也不合你們所期望的。我怕有紛爭、嫉妒、憤怒、自私、毀謗、讒言、狂傲、動亂的事。

你們要謹慎，你們若相咬相吞，恐怕要彼此消滅了。

我的弟兄們，革來氏家裏的人曾對我提起你們，說你們中間有紛爭。

情慾的事都是顯而易見的；就如淫亂、污穢、放蕩、拜偶像、行邪術、仇恨、紛爭、忌恨、憤怒、自私、分派、結黨、嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴過你們，現在又告訴你們，做這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。

那時，你們在過犯罪惡中生活，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的領袖，就是現今在悖逆的人心中運行的邪靈。我們從前也都生活在他們當中，放縱肉體的私慾，隨着肉體和心中的意念去做，和別人一樣，生來就是該受懲罰的人。

你們要脫去從前的行為，脫去舊我；這舊我是因私慾的迷惑而漸漸敗壞的。你們要把自己的心志更新，並且穿上新我；這新我是照着神的形像造的，有從真理來的公義和聖潔。

使你們從今以後不再隨從人的情慾，只順從神的旨意，在世度餘下的光陰。

你們中間有彼此爭吵的事，怎敢告到不義的人面前，而不告到聖徒面前呢？你們豈不知聖徒要審判世界嗎？若世界要受你們的審判，難道你們不配審判這最小的事嗎？你們豈不知我們要審判天使嗎？何況今生的事呢！既是這樣，你們若有今生當審判的事，會讓教會所輕看的人來審判嗎？我說這話是要使你們慚愧。難道你們中間沒有一個有智慧的人能審斷弟兄中的事嗎？你們竟然有弟兄去告弟兄，而且告到不信主的人面前。你們彼此告狀，這已經是你們的大錯了。為甚麼不情願受冤屈呢？為甚麼不情願吃虧呢？你們反倒去冤枉人，虧負人，況且所冤枉所虧負的就是弟兄。

行事為人要端正，好像在白晝行走。不可荒宴醉酒；不可好色淫蕩；不可紛爭嫉妒。

他們卻如亞當背約，在那裏向我行詭詐。

因為從人心裏發出種種惡念，如淫亂、偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、淫蕩、嫉妒、毀謗、驕傲、狂妄。
