蓋斯世之智、於上帝為愚、記有之、主令智者自中其詭計、

因这世界的智慧，在神看是愚拙。如经上记着说：“主叫有智慧的，中了自己的诡计”；

因为这世界的智慧在上帝看来是愚拙的。如经上记着：“主使有智慧的人中了自己的诡计；”

因为这世界的智慧在神看来是愚拙的。如经上记着：“主使有智慧的人中了自己的诡计；”

因为这世上的智慧在上帝的眼中都是愚昧的，正如圣经上说：“上帝使智者中了自己的诡计。”

因为这世界的智慧，在神看来是愚笨的，如经上所记：“他使有智慧的人中了自己的诡计。”

因为在神看来，这世界的智慧就是愚拙；原来经上记着：“神使智慧人落入自己的诡计中”；

蓋此世之智、在天主前為愚、如經載云、主令智者自中其詭計、

蓋世之所謂智巧、自天主視之、愚拙莫甚焉。經不云乎：『天主令智者自墮其巧計之中。』

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written:“ He catches the wise in their craftiness”;

The wisdom of this world is foolish in God’s eyes. It is written,“ God catches wise people in their own evil plans.”( Job 5:13)

For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written,“ He catches the wise in their craftiness,”

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say,“ He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.”

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, since it is written, He catches the wise in their craftiness;

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God. For it is written:“ He is the one who catches the wise by their craftiness”;

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,“ He catches the wise in their own craftiness”;

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:

令智者自中其詭計、使譎者之謀早敗、

顧彼既知上帝、而不以上帝榮之、亦不謝之、乃思議虛妄、心蠢而昧、自稱為智、適成為愚、

願惡人自罹其網、我則得脫兮、

我使誑者之兆不驗、卜筮之輩顚狂、智者卻退、其聰慧變為愚拙、

記有之、我將敗智者之智、廢哲者之哲、智者安在、士子安在、斯世之辯者安在、豈非上帝使世之智為愚乎、

然我言智於成人、非斯世之智、亦非斯世掌權者之智、以其必敗也、

斯眾懷邪慝、孕毒害、產虛偽、掘造坎阱、自陷其中、

故我將行奇事於斯民、奇之最奇、智者亡其智、聰者蔽其聰、○深匿其謀於耶和華前、行事於暗者曰、誰見我、誰識我、禍哉斯人、異哉、爾之乖戾也、豈可視陶人若泥乎、受造之物、豈可論造之者曰、彼未造我、被摶之器、豈可論摶之者曰、彼無聰明、○

列邦作阱而自陷、暗設網罟、自絆其足兮、耶和華既顯著、施行義鞫、惡者之手所作、自陷其中兮、

今知耶和華較諸神為大、即於埃及人狂傲之事顯之也、

瑣安之牧伯愚甚、法老有智之謀士、所謀愚蠢、何謂法老曰、我乃哲人之後、前王之胤耶、爾之智者安在、萬軍之耶和華為埃及所定者、任其知之以告爾、瑣安之牧伯為愚、挪弗之牧伯見惑、埃及支派之屋隅石、引其民於迷途、耶和華以悖戾之意、雜於其中、俾埃及所為乖謬、若醉人哇吐之際、步履蹁躚、

莫若以智謀馭之、免其眾多、遇有戰事、附敵攻我、離國而去、

當日亞希多弗所設之謀、如諮諏於上帝、為大衛、為押沙龍、皆如是、

或告大衛曰、亞希多弗從押沙龍、在叛黨之中、大衛曰、耶和華歟、求爾使亞希多弗之謀、變為愚昧、

遂以哈曼、懸於為末底改所備之木、王怒乃息、

押沙龍及以色列眾曰、亞基人戶篩之謀、較亞希多弗之謀尤善、蓋耶和華預定敗亞希多弗之謀、以禍押沙龍、○

亞希多弗見其所謀不從、即備驢反故邑、歸私第、處置家事、自縊而死、葬於父墓、○
