If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.

If the building doesn’t burn up, God will give the builder a reward for the work.

If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.

If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward.

If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.

If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.

If any man’s work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward.

The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.

“ The master was full of praise.‘ Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’“ The servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward and said,‘ Master, you gave me two bags of silver to invest, and I have earned two more.’“ The master said,‘ Well done, my good and faithful servant. So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time— before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.

Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.

And now, a word to you who are elders in the churches. I, too, am an elder and a witness to the sufferings of Christ. And I, too, will share in his glory when he is revealed to the whole world. As a fellow elder, I appeal to you:

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Smyrna. This is the message from the one who is the First and the Last, who was dead but is now alive:“ I know about your suffering and your poverty— but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not, because their synagogue belongs to Satan.Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.“ Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death.

And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never ending glory and honor.

After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you!

“ A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.
