人若在此基礎之上有所建築、則無論其為金也、銀也、玉也、木也、茅草也禾稿也、

If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,

A person may build on it using gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay or straw.

Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—

Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials— gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw.

If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,

Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,

But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;

If anyone builds on that foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,

But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble,

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—“ Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,”which all concern things which perish with the using— according to the commandments and doctrines of men?These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.

“ O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires.I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones.All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.

I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

“ The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the Lord.

Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:‘ These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold;

If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness.

Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.

For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

“ Instead of bronze I will bring gold, Instead of iron I will bring silver, Instead of wood, bronze, And instead of stones, iron. I will also make your officers peace, And your magistrates righteousness.

The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.
